Cody Johnson is always on point & consistent with his performances. I think him & Chris Stapleton are two of the best singers singing live. They always sound like they're singing in the studio. That is very rare if you can do that because most lives are good but they just don't sound like Cody & Chris like effortless & flawless. Amazing reaction!

The story behind his hand tattoos is cool. He had a sleeve for a long time but recently got the hand tattoos because he always assumed he'd have to go and apply for a 9-5 job at some point... only in the last 2 years or so after chasing the dream for the past 10 did he realize he made it and never needed to interview for a job again

Ive seen CoJo three times over the past six years: back before Dear Rodeo was released, 2022 Rodeo Houston and last night. Every single time, he’s been even better live than he is on recordings. He’s touring with Randall King right now, who is as equally awesome live, if you’re looking for someone in the same style to check out. “Around Forever” is a great tune with a similar message as “Til You Can’t”, as well as a very moving, very personal music video. HIGHLY recommend Randall King.

Cody just writes and sings what he believes in. He can rub some people the wrong way with his views on things, but I don't think you should ever fault someone for what they think.
