Codys current success is based solely on his association with Aew,during his first run he was a mid card act that never pushed through to that main event level,the only reason this run was any different is primarily because of the Aew buzz and secondly because wwe is not exactly brimming with loads of main event level talent at this moment(Just look at who occupies the top spots and who are the legitimate challengers)cody is still the mid card act getting air time because the pickings are slim!
