No matter what you all are doing, where you are, what you are driving or what you are camping in, it's just a pleasure to watch your channel. Great filming as always. It's just so nice to see a sweet couple getting on, sorting things out and loving and enjoying God's creation. Thank you so much for sharing and making my life just that much better for watching.

There is a Harvest Host near me and it’s a horse rescue farm. They have a gift shop and they also accept donations. Your donation doesn’t necessarily have to be monetary; it can be a couple of hours spent cleaning stalls, etc.

You guys are SO gonna LOVE LOVE LOVE Harvest Host! We’ve been across the US - as far as the North Rim and back, over 4,000 miles in 32 days/nights - we only paid/stayed a total of 7 nights that wasn’t Harvest Host. We just loved it! We even stayed at 2 apiaries who produced their own Mead. Some of them even have an optional hook up, for pay. Have a blast!
@reneepowell85412 жыл бұрын
Another great vlog, so glad you're enjoying your new accommodations! Harvest Hosts is very cool, we've really enjoyed staying at various places all over the US. Although most limit to one night, there are some we've stayed at that have allowed us to stay 2-3 days. Boondockers Welcome is another great group, and often allow you to stay more than one night. Safe travels!

Hi ya’ll. Love your channel! She mentioned it being colder inside. If you look below in your basement you’ll see we have ZERO insulation down below. Highly suggest we start stuffing insulation for winter! Below the slide out too. Seems our walls are 1” foam so thats only R3! Putting roll foil inside cabinets to help. Also, caulk caulk caulk! All kinds of lil holes if you go looking. Have taken many of your ideas and implemented them! Thanks!

@Dome Life, HH is awesome. I’ve really, really enjoyed the locations at which I’ve stayed. I love the farms best, but the museum and historical site locations are also awesome. One other suggestion I have for you, for those long distance trips on which you’re open to staying a while so you can check out the sites, is Boondocks Welcome. They are amazing, cuz you can get to know the hosts, or not. You can also have hookups, or not.

I just stayed at a cool Harvest Host in Tillamook Oregon. At the Blue Heron. It's really awesome. It has a building and inside a deli that has food for lunch/dinner and breakfast, chocolates, ice cream, coffee, wine tasting area, gift shop, bathrooms etc. Outside large area to eat with beautiful garden area and picnic tables. A separate candy shoppe. A food truck that serves hamburger and hotdogs on the weekend only. A petting farm with at least one of every animal. Acres of land and owner has collected old antique farm equipment and vehicles that are on display all over to look at. To the far back of property is a beautiful grassy area with 42 stakes that mark camp spots for up to 2 nights. I actually went car camping to try out for the first time. I went 13 days, 2490 miles. From my place in Montana to Idaho, Oregon, Washington, back through top of Idaho, down s.w. Montana then home to n.c. Montana. Blue Heron was one of the places I stayed for 2 nights. Limit was 2 nights here. I slept in my car. They were fine with that. Just no tents. I basically was self contained. 1 mile from Tillamook creamery Oregon. In my 2003 Mazda 6. No different than a Van just smaller. Yep gotta go with what you got and it worked out awesome. I found it on camppendium actually. Not on a Harvest Host app. I stayed at National Park 2 nights, national forest 4 nights, harvest host 2 nights, beautiful rest area 1 night and motel last night. I loved it 🥰

We hike at that wildlife management area pretty much every weekend. There are over 20 dispersed camping sites and we do not see them occupied very often.. There are several hidden waterfalls, caves, springs throughout. I highly suggest next time you are in Eureka Springs that you go check it out. Hobbs state park also has some backpack primative camping spots on some of their trails.
