You are sincerely the only teacher who explains the best out of all!! I've try a lot of teachers on youtube but there is something special, caring and explicative in a relaxed way that makes me drawn to you. I can't get enough of your classes! With everything going on now, it would be a blessing that you start teacher teachers to be (like an academy) so we can get our certificate from you directly !😇

This is the best coffee chat so far. I love that you are so honest and still so 'real' and fun despite now having over a million subscribers. I completed a yoga TT at the end of 2019 but have never actually taught due to covid, loss of confidence, injuries etc. Hearing about your 'journey' and experiences to date has given me an inspirational boost and a kick up the butt. Thank you for sharing such great advice, tips and general 'I can do this' encouragement 🙏

This conversation was very helpful, thank you Kassandra. I find these insights even relevant for anyone starting a small business. I love your sequencing, but what really drew me in was your tie-in to the spiritual side of yoga (the affirmations, chants, mudras,..). I also love that you have instruction available for short routines and long yin yoga routines. I appreciate your authenticity. Proud to have watched your channel grow over the years.

I was referred to you by one of my lovely subscribers Lisa. I have a channel I started in March after I had to close my three holistic skin care salons because of Covid. I teach beauty and anti aging naturally and with grace( I am 54 and I don’t do anything invasive to my skin and I don’t use special ring lights or wear foundation or concealer) my point I am NATURAL 😉It has been a blessing on so many levels( I love helping people !) but also so hard to be accepted by others on the beauty channels and have people find me. Thank You for your well spoken and kind words. I won’t give up. Subscribed 🙌🏻🍑Lisa

Love this video so much. I did my 200 hour years ago and still haven't felt comfortable enough to teach much, online or in person. This video had some amazing tips and was very motivating! You're so well spoken and have such a comfortable vibe. I also love your videos more than any other online teachers. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you provide!

I have no interest in teaching online but I decided to check out the video just because I watch all your videos! Your fear of what other people thought of you before you started or early on is so reminiscent of me switching careers, not having the schooling like everyone else does, etc. It was so helpful to hear you share your insecurities.

Yes!! You’re so right about cues! Your cues are so great Kassandra, you never assume that everyone knows exactly what every single yoga pose is but you also hit a good balance with intermediate and advanced practitioners who need fewer cues ❤️

I'm glad you talked about your sequencing :) I have tried a lot of other yoga teachers on youtube, and they are good as well, but your classes are the most enjoyable and I think it's because of your sequences! They just flow really well. Thanks!

dear Kassandra, thank you so much. I'm in tears - good tears!- of gratitude and feeling seen. I'm just beginning my journey as an online creator - my channel is about spirituality and relaxation --and it's very hard some days! growth is slow and I question myself, am I good enough? do people care? But I shake off those thoughts and focus on how much happiness and purpose it brings me. the meaningful connection and making a positive impact in my viewers really outweighs the challenges!! thank you again for your vulnerability and guidance. big love to you!!

Hi Kassandra! Can't tell you how much these videos have helped me not quit building my KZbin channel. I've just started making video about a month ago, I'm super uncomfortable on camera and I'm horrible at technology. I'm getting better. I just wanna say thanks. one of your videos about shooting videos helped me through one of the hardest times I've had trying to shoot. It can really be frustrating and it helps alot to hear someone as good as you still goes through it.

This was great and really informative for me as a new teacher. I have to stream my classes live on a facebook page for the studio I teach at and I focus on making sure my poses are perfect and giving so many cues instead of reading the room and looking at the students who are there with me. I will definitely be doing this from now on, thank you :)

Thank you, thank you for your insights! I'm curious about insurance...who do you use? Is there anything in particular that we really want to make sure is covered, something that might get overlooked? There are so many options out there, some that are even yoga instructor specific. I want to make sure I make an informed decision and not get too caught up in some of the "perks" that some companies offer/boast.

Dear Kassandra, thank you so much for your authenticity and your great videos. I have been following you for a while now, and you resonate ;-)! I am a beginning yin yoga teacher. starting off with in person classes, but looking forward to teach online. My idea was to start off with live online classes, instead of recorded ones. Since you only talk about recorded online classes, I was wondering what are your thoughts about teaching Live online classes. Did you do that in the beginning of your teaching career? Hope to hear from you. Warm regards, Jorina (The Netherlands)

I related to techniques that are recommended to video (talking direct to the camera or lens..actually will need to revisit but I got it!) Dear Kassandra. I have no intention to be a yoga teacher, so this a question from a viewer/student - Have you ever considered to voice over your videos instead of talking while exercising? And if probably not - why? Thanks
@workingtitle5144 жыл бұрын
Is it so wrong to have your notes nearby while you're doing a class, just in case you forget what's next in the sequence? That's another myth about yoga, teachers always have their notes with them, why can't a yoga teacher do so? I know it's maybe a matter of image, but yoga teachers are also human! :)
