I love that you're so upfront and honest about sponsors. Let's be honest, youtube for you is a job. And a job's purpose is to provide income for your family. People might not like to hear that but it is the truth. One of the things that i appreciate about you is you don't do an over influx of beauty sponsorships. For me, (because I do still genuinely value your beauty input) it makes your reviews seem more truthful.

Honestly I feel that you should take as many sponsorships as you'd like. as long as you disclose in the beginning of the video, we as adults can decide if we trust your opinion, like the product, don't like the product etc. I'm a grown woman, I take responsibility for my actions lol I wish more people would and stop blaming influencers for their impulsive buys. Have a great day Jessica and I love your videos!😚😚😚

So unrelated to this video, but I watched your volg on Tyler's channel earlier today and since youtube disabled the comments over there i couldn't leave this on that video. But when he was taking about how often he vlogs in the kitchen and said "welcome to the cutting board" I could not get out of my head how awesome of a cooking series title that would be for his channel. That's all 😊 love your videos btw

As you were talking about how it's natural to drift from university/college friends, it made me realize how blessed I am to have a dear friend from university for 30 years now. We both studied vocal music, & he even left to go to a different university to study opera at one point, then moved back, & we had the privilege of working together for several years & traveling/singing together in our gospel trio. Each of us got married (he sang at my wedding first, & then I sang at his a year later). Such friendships take a ton of work (oftentimes through the good, the bad, & the ugly over the years), & it can be difficult to stay in touch especially if you live states apart like we do now, but they are possible. I'm grateful to have experienced such a rarity in my life. 😉💕

Absolutely no judgement on putting Gigi to bed with milk. As a dental hygienist though, there can definitely be a risk for cavities in little ones who fall asleep with milk. Lactose is essentially sugar (still needed and wholesome for growing bodies, but unfortunately, a catalyst for cavities nonetheless) and with sugar it's not how much we ingest but how long our teeth are exposed to it. Now that she has a lot of her baby teeth in, you may want to try to ween her to trying to do water in her bottle at bed time. ( you can still do a end of the night drink of milk, but not in the crib where it can bathe the teeth). Again, zero judgement on my end, parenting is HARD and Gigi is adorable. She seems happy and healthy and that's the most important thing! Just wanted to give some of the reasoning for not putting kids to sleep with milk. ❤

Vociferoustart I am glad that you commented on this the way you did. Not judgmental but factual. It is true that this practice can lead to a mouthful of cavities. Talk to your own Dentist to verify and it will soon be time to get Gigi her own appointment to ease her into dental care. Do it now before any problems start, when it can just be fun and games.

Re: friends and moving on from old friends. I just read the greatest thing- it’s the 2 beers and a puppy test. Think of the person and ask yourself if you would want to regularly go out and have a couple drinks with them. Then ask yourself if you would ask/trust them to babysit your puppy for the weekend. If both are no- you move on. If both are yes, they’re a keeper. If they are only a beer buddy, it’s okay to just see them casually for social events. If they’re only a stable, trustworthy person but you don’t enjoy their company as much or have much in common, it’s okay to just chat every so often and not hang out all the time. The test just basically tells you how you view them and where they stand in your current life. Interesting!

Love the coffee chats ☕️ Totally agree with the kids with rigid schedules. Both my kids (4 & 2), have loosely structured naps, and daily schedules. They know what to expect through the day, but it’s not exact, and I’m glad they’re really go with the flow and flexible. They can sleep anywhere and have been really great sleepers. Other family members have HARDCORE strict schedules for sleep, eat, and play. The moment they have to deviate from their norm, the kids take a good 3 or 4 days to recover from it emotionally and mentally. I understand the planning, how it helps both parents and kids, and but it just wasn’t for us, and that’s ok! I love hearing you answer questions, and I adore how you answer them. So well spoken, and your personality is just a joy 💜 Sponsorships are interesting to me and I think you can tell who genuinely is endorsing a company, and who is trying to pay their bills, which is also understandable. Anyone who has watched your videos can tell that you really stand behind what you’re showing us. Plus sponsored content takes quite a bit of work, and it’s easy to tell that you put the work in! My son is 2, and he is just so thrilled for your vlogs to see Gigi! He will come running when I watch them and shout out “I hear my friend Gigi!” 💜

Personally, I don’t see anything wrong on having a sponsored video every week, if you disclosure it right in the beginning of your video. You’re responsible, thrust-worthy, and I don’t think you will have any sponsors, just for the hack of it, you genuinely thrust and enjoy the services and or products from the ones you’re working with. I really feel that you should decide and thrust yourself on that. Not everyone is going to be happy with every single video you put out, that’ life, or “it is what it is,” as you would say. I really enjoy your videos. 🥰🤗

It took me years of “interviewing “ friends and people around me and starting discussions about Botox. Hearing how many people actually do it and hearing why people have negative thoughts about it helped me form my own thoughts on it. Makes for great casual conversation before you’re actually interested! In the end I went with a friend and I am very happy I did. I now equate it to dying my hair- wish I didn’t have to and some people don’t but at 35 I’m not showing my gray and I’m not into my expressive wrinkles that would equate to someone 10 years older than me

Jess, omg! For literally yearsssss I have been the person that has said I would definitely embrace my wrinkles once they come but, no joke, my first legit forehead wrinkles have shown up in the the last few months (I’ll be 33 in November) and I’m sitting around constantly talking myself in and out of Botox. Just today I was sitting around thinking about how far they’ve come with Botox and how it’s not as scary as it used to be. Same with my grey hairs! I haven’t dyed my hair in probably 15 years but I’m starting to change my tune now that a few “sparklers” are peaking through. This questions is tooooooo relatable right now!

I'm teaching virtually at this time, and as long as parents support the school, it's going very well. It's not ideal, but we are making it work!

The botox topic is such a good one! I think it still has that taboo but is so effective for so many things. I personally have gotten botox since I was 18 (22 now) for migraine treatment. We cater it to me because I like my forehead to still have movement and my migraines aren’t in that area. I know a ton of people who have gotten it for cosmetics and love the results. It bothers me that if I mention my botox, I’ve been lectured by people i didn’t even know who told me I was too young to get it, without understanding it’s not always used for cosmetics. I think it’s such a personal topic and honestly it doesn’t hurt to get. The needle stings a little but that’s it, especially if you have a good dr doing it.

Jessica I love how you are a straight forward person. We need more people like you in this world, honest and sweet. I actually just recently started Botox for my migraines and I am so happy I have made that choice it has been 2 months now and I had only one migraine, now I was that person that would get migraines 2 times a week and they would literally keep me in bed. They are worth it and honestly I thought that getting Botox was so wrong but I don’t feel that way anymore. So who ever has been thinking about getting them go for it and don’t be ashamed. Hugs love yourself and don’t let anyone judge you on getting Botox or fillers😉

You have to be hands-down my favorite you tuber that I watch. I have spent the majority of quarantine watching previous vlogs of you and your family and absolutely falling in love with you guys. As I watched recently I noticed you were doing more sponsored content which doesn’t bother me whatsoever but I knew you not post as many as other KZbinrs that I happen to watch. And for you to actually address it is some thing that I really admire about you. This is your job and if we’re watching you we support any of the decisions that you decide to make for your household. Keep being you and creating our escape outlet from this crazy world. You deserve success and happiness. You’re one of the real ones and we all appreciate you. Rant over the end hah. I never post comments so I hope this one gets noticed lol.

Your sponsorships don’t bother me at all......not sure why it’s even a thing. You and your family have to do what’s best for YOU & YOURS. I respect you so much and value your referrals and suggestions. Love watching & hearing you while I get ready for work in the morning! Thank you for being real and relatable! A big hug to you from here in California where everyone does Botox and fillers 😛❤️.

Loved this video Jess! Popping in here to say that Botox really isn't that big of a deal. It's super quick, painless, and very subtle when done correctly. I'm 26 and started getting it last year because of some deeper lines in my forehead that I didn't love, and it's just so easy. Obviously no pressure to anyone at all, but if you're debating it, might as well try! The effects don't last forever, so if you don't like it or decide you're happy without, no harm, no foul! Just go to a trusted source!

I think that you’re a very trustworthy KZbinr and we all understand that this is your business! (Especially with everything going on) I think most people feel that it’s completely fine to see more sponsorships right now! I never feel like your sponsorships don’t make sense for you or your brand so I think you’re doing great and I honestly haven’t noticed if you’ve had more than “usual”!

Sponsorships - you're golden. Did you see the thrive market commercial they made with your video?! THE CUTEST! They way they edited it was adorable "I'm going to have to hide these from my husband" at the very end - so good!

I wish sponsorships weren't something that was so controversial,or made to make you feel as if you have to explain yourself. You have to support yourself, and your family. This is how you do that. Take whatever sponsorship YOU WANT, that you feel comfortable with, no matter how many that ends up working out to in a month, or a week, or whatever. We know that you are a good and true person, and that you don't just take whatever you don't believe in. Those that give you grief...🤷 Idk...can kick rocks I guess. I don't mean that meanly, but sometimes people complain just for the sake of it. You're great, Jess. Make all the dollars you can, girl!! For real!! 🥰😘🤩

My husband and I are fellow Hoosiers! We moved out of Indiana because when you are younger that’s what everyone wants to do! After living away from Indiana for 5 years, we are planning on moving back! Nothing beats being around family and the friends you grew up with! Also, you never realize how much you miss the country until you move to a big city! We are planning on having kids and want them to be raised in a small town like we did!
