Man I love your videos so much. They truly are a huge comfort and the best vibes I could ask for. I have the exact same preference of hanging out in the morning or early afternoon with friends, it's the best time to catch as much sun as possible, and have tons of time to go for a bike ride then sit at a cafe and relax after with no rush to get back home for dinner or when it gets dark. You need to come to my new home of the Netherlands sometime! The bike infrastructure and cafe culture here is truly unmatched.

Lovley ride and nice to see the good coffee and snacks. I am very lucky to have a good independent coffee shop in Crawley called "Crow" (which is where Crawley got its name). The owner comes out and rides with us, so really nice to start on an early morning and return to his shop. A tiny window into a slightly more fun and interesting experience in an otherwise vanilla sussex Town. :) Always enjoy the videos and listening to your latest adventures.

I felt validated with all the rings of your bell because I find myself chiming mine every time I’m cycling, especially when on a road with painted bike lanes. I’ll make sure to vlog my experience as well!

Have always thought that stretch of (completely ignored) bike lane next to the Cheonggyecheon is ridiculous. @@probablyriding ~ it is. I used to do my daily commute from Gwanghwamun to Seolleung along the Cheonggycheon stream. Those bike lanes were originally at street level but then were raised and became part of the sidewalk about 6 years ago. I assumed that the pedestrians complained that the sidewalk was too narrow. The. Cheonggyecheon stream is a milestone development in the city but was built so hastily that things like sidewalks were pretty much rendered secondary during the design phase.

Funny how the stinky foods are often the tastiest. As a kid on a trip to Sudan in the '90s, I was offered a pungent delicacy called *_fessiekh_* (fermented fish). After some (a lot of!) encouragement, I allowed my tongue to skirt the outside of the sample spoon. Needless to say, not only did I clear the spoon, it took every fibre of my being not to clean out the entire bowl that the rest was served in (intended for a number of people). If you're ever in Egypt or Sudan, I highly recommend it. Just make sure it's from a reputable source; in Egypt especially there are rogue traders who rush the process; if not prepared properly, it can lead to botulism poisoning. Proper restaurants and family-/home-made are the safest options.

@probablyriding7 күн бұрын

I haven’t completely dialled it but this has made good cups: -17g coffee 250g water at 94c. -Coffee in 40g water in. Swirl. Bloom 30secs. -Pour the rest of the water. Stir with a spoon. -At 2mins release the valve. Swirl when the water is half way down. Enjoy. Some people put the water in first and the add coffee so the draw down is faster but haven’t had good results with that.
