im in that boat of initial haters. Back when it was out, I heard 4 songs ( Head First Slide/ What A Catch Donnie/ Americas Suitehearts/ and TIffanys Blews) and was not a fan at all personally so I kind of wrote the album off especially since I loved TTTYG, From Under the Cork Tree and Infinity on High, so much. Now that I can go back and reflect, it sucks that I missed so many great songs on it like this one and others

Actually, this song is one of Patrick's favorites off of Folie a Deux. The reason it isn't played any more is because he claims that it really takes toll on his voice. You can hear some struggling to hit those notes and you can see it too.

@@nabazakir9231 idk if you've had this answered already, but folie a deux was their most hated album. people bought tickets to go and boo them, thats why they never play these songs live anymore, and a big reason why they took a hiatus after it's release. Patrick struggled a lot because he wrote all the music, and the only reason people hated it is because they didn't sound the same as cork tree or infinity on high. the fan base of 2008 ruined this album for everyone, even the band. and now because of them, those of us like me who think this album is their greatest masterpiece will never get the chance to hear it live other than 20$ nosebleed and what a catch. it really sucks that some people felt the need to ruin this for literally every single one of us.

I think they just added an echo effect (not sure what the technical term is). If it were autotune, it would sound really synthesized when he went off key. But I know what you mean. You can tell that it's a bit "cleaned up" compared to other performances.
