I always say I'm not eating that and just like you said immediately they are on the defense with me and we have to talk for 20 minutes how I'm on some fad diet and blah blah blah when I'm just making right choices!!! THANKS GIRLS! Always right on the nose!!!

This was a great video :) I've been having a hard time staying on track now that I'm back in school and faced with so many more instances of people asking if I want to go to the pub after class or having food that isn't good for me at work events. These are all great things to keep in mind as the holidays approach! Thanks K&K!

I'm vegetarian and I just found out I'm allergic to wheat, so I've always brought my own stuff, or simply requested vegetables over anything. I'm an easy person to please. The couple weeks ago, my bf's sister in law asked what she should have for me for her sons 1 year old party, and I just asked for salad, and she was shocked that's all I wanted. I'm so grateful she asked me and put the effort in, but sometimes what we want and need, really are simple things.

I love the advice of saying, "I'm not in the mood for that." It can get awkward and people do get defensive sometimes, so that's a perfect way of putting it. :) Thanks, girls!

I love this :) it's great to put a positive spin on it and focus on being a good influence on others to make healthier choices. It gives me such a buzz when I see one of my friends who struggles with their diet/exercise and they say to me "I always wanna go home and eat really healthy when I've stayed at yours" makes me smile :) changing the world one TIU girl at a time!!

I love it! I started choosing healthier options at Christmas one year, and the next year, almost all the options were healthier! It was awesome!

Love this!! Making your own healthy choices really does influence those around you! Just yesterday my husband said that he worked out on his lunch break because I motivated him with all of my working out lately 😊

Hi Girls! I loved this video and I really needed to hear these things today. I was wondering what your advice might be for staying on track while traveling for a long time? I'm getting ready to go to Europe for 6 weeks and I'm worried about finding TIU approved and healthy options in each city/country. Any advice would be great! XOXO

First of all, I just want to say that both of you and your whole team is absolutely amazing. I watched this video today because in the past 48 hours I've made some really poor nutritional choices. And I find that going back and watching the coffee chats sort of helps me to realign, refocus, and be like "okay, Virginia, it's okay, these things happen. You just have to remember it happens to everyone and you just have to remember why you need to make the good choices (which inevitably my workout does the next morning.)" Leading me to my "second of all"... I was wondering if there would ever be a future coffee chat about what you do the evening of or following day after you've made a poor meal choice? This one is focused more on missing gym sessions. I guess it would be very similar but just in case. Just curious. Love you gals! V

Great video!!! 😘 can I suggest a video about different alternatives if you are sick (like I have neck problems and fibromyalgia and I can't do some exercises and I don't want to just stand there... I need alternatives.) Maby you could just do an entire video with "if you can't do this exercise do this" and then when I do the normal program I will know! This would help a lot!! 😘

Love these coffee with K&K videos! I would love to see you do one about the different ways you practice self-care. Of course you ladies emphasize the importance of eating healthy and staying active, but what other ways do you take care of yourself? Meditation or dry body brushing or special morning/nighttime routine?

I love the "bring your own options" advice. I am always discouraged by the unhealthy choices when we spend the weekend with my in-laws, but this past weekend I brought all my own M1 & M2 options. It didn't mean I ate healthy the whole weekend, but it was a start!

Another thing I like to say when I'm going out and I'm ordering a lean, clean and green meal I either say "I'm not in the mood for that" or I say "I just feel like eating something light now, I'm not very hungry". I'm also vegan, so I already know that when I go out, most restaurants or buffets won't really have healthy vegan meals. So I plan ahead and actually eat a TIU approved vegan meal before I go out so that if the only thing I can eat is a green salad then I'm really not hungry. I also love big handbags and I always carry a bottle of water and a small snack like an apple, or 2 tbsp nuts and 1 tbsp dried fruit in a cute mini container. I've even packed the 7DSD chia pudding in a small container in my handbag with a teaspoon when I went out once. You can really make this work ladies, just be creative, plan ahead and stay consistent but friendly.

I love this and agree that the sweater is amazing - Kat where do we find that?!? But seriously this is a great topic bc I have no problem when I am in my own little bubble but do find myself giving in to less healthy options when others are partaking. One of my goals for Fit for Fall is to honor myself, stay on track, bring healthy options and let people know "i'm not in the mood for that." Thanks K&K ;)

Oh my gosh I loved this video! Funny thing though, I have been doing all of that since I started TIU :) And I guess I am very lucky that my boyfriend eats everything and also loves to be healthy and active! Thanks for that video! Really good advice...

I have a suggestion for k&k :) can you remind your best tips for hair, skin and nails? I recently stopped my birth control pill because I was tired of being on a hormone (since I was 16 years old)... One of the downsides to this is I've been getting acne on my jawline and chin. Have you two ever struggled with acne? What helped? If so, do you have advice from friends/family that have dealt with this?

I'm vegan so I get a lot of "Oh, can you have this?" My being vegan is part of my lifestyle rather than a diet, so I usually say "I can have that, but I choose not to." Plus, it's amazing how much easier it is to make healthier choices. For instance, I'll get a side of steamed veggies with my food as opposed to fries.

When I married my husband he thought vegetables were just a garnish that you put on top of your steak. I slowly, SLOWLY introduced him to healthy food and now, two years later even he will admit he is almost vegetarian! He asks me to make salad for dinner every night!

along with "I'm not in the mood for that" if they press i like to say "oh i just had a bunch of sweets, fries, whatever yesterday" its a white lie but the other person doesn't feel judged and it stops the peer pressure. plus if the treat is homemade then the cook/baker/etc doesn't feel hurt by you snubbing their treat

I think the best is not to feel down or offended if people don't understand your choices even when it's not somethign that should bother them. I have a very peculiar diet because I have many many allergies: at every party, even if there's food for everyone or even if we are at the restaurant and everyone is paying for himself/herself, friends and family complain about what I eat, even if it's my birthday or my house! Now many of them don't even invite me to their dinners of parties....but hey, it's for my health and if they get offended by the choices I make to be healthy, it's their problem :)

I love this, it's so hard to stay on track at parties or potlucks. Everyone is like well you should live a little, try some balance! I can't have balance if I go to party with food every weekend! Haha
