Hey folks, thank you for checking out my latest video! I really appreciate you being here ❤Since I'm curious, what do you think about me covering recent cases like this? They require a more analytical approach (understanding vs storytelling)... do you find that interesting? And what do you think about longer videos? Respectful side note, there is a current fundraiser active for the neighbour/victim, Allan Dare. I'll leave the link here - www.gofundme.com/f/allan-dare-farewell

I live and work in Chinchilla and used to buy my firewood from Alan. He was the nicest guy and we would talk for ages after dropping off some wood about cars. My condolences to his family. This was (and still is) a huge shock to the community. We used to take our kids camping on a property the next block over from this place. I still remember the helicopters flying over our house on the way to the scene... unreal shit...

~~~ The below wasn't meant to justify what they did or their mindset in any way, this was a comment on the summary/introduction to the town of Chinchilla at the start of the video, that grew quite a bit, as it being a town ruined by the gas industry is/was the most notable thing about Chinchilla, next to it's bi-yearly melon fest. With the mindset of some people being anti government/council it (potentially) made it easier for these people to exist/grow/transform for the worse without being as noticeable as they may have been elsewhere. Some people would say some crazy things (like shooting government/council/gas mining people) quite flippantly, at the pub, in shops, randomly out of no where mid conversation because QGC/Police/Someone drove by, so hearing something along the lines of fighting government tyrany and shooting people, that wouldn't have raised that many eyebrows as other areas. Tara/Kogan/Chinchilla wasn't a forward thinking area, not up until the late 2010s anyway. A lot of hate for anyone outside of their ecosystem/vision of what 'real Australians' and 'real mean' were. Chinchilla is quite an amazing town of amazing people now days, so it's definitely a lot more shocking than it would have been 10 or so years ago. Tara and Kogan are (or at least were, up until 2019 when I left) still quite stuck in the past on a lot of modern day issues. ~~~ I lived in chinchilla for years, you summarised it fairly well, but missed probably the most well known thing, which is it's a coal seam gas town that has been allegedly entirely ruined by companies like Shell/QGC, Origin, etc., with most farm land now allegedly considered unusable due to the gas mining. It has become so bad that allegedly some banks just won't even give out loans using the land as collateral, leaving most farmers allegedly stuck with nothing but dead/dying land. Some context about the mindset out near Chinchilla/Tara/Kogan as late as 2019, though a lot stronger prior to 2016: There is, or at least use to be, all the way up to 2019 when I left, a general distrust for the government/council out there, at least among the actual locals who have been there since before the 'boom' in population caused by the coal seam gas industry coming to town. It was a common enough occurrence to have guns pointed at you or fired over your head when going out of town (essentially if you left town travelling in any direction other than along the the warrego highway) if you worked for, or possibly looked like you could work one of the coal seam gas companies. It was such a common occurance that the mention of it happening and what to do if it does happen would be talked about in QGC Employees first meeting with the 'big wiggs' in Brisbane (but oddly enough not mentioned at all during the application process haha). There were still signs nailed to trees back in 2019 (more than likely still there) that you will see when driving along the roads heading towards Tara/Kogan saying things like "F*** off QGC" and threats of what will happen to them etc. There were/are a lot of cowboys that didn't care at all about peoples land when they were drilling riggs, but the majority of the aggression and anti-social behaviour landed on the people who came well after the damage was done, as the actual culprits were long gone and moved onto another area to set up wells and ruin another lot of land. Some of the stories I heard while at the pub there, things like diesel being poured directly into a hole to clear a clog so to not slow down the completion of a well, you can somewhat understand where the hate has come from. 1000s of hectares (maybe even 100s of thousands) of land allegedly entirely ruined.
@@missInsane3 It's an ongoing investigation. There are reasons why information is withheld such as finding people who were also involved in a crime. Another example was the Lindt Cafe siege in Sydney. All the commercial media were asked by the Police not to broadcast what was happening for a very good reason. It put the lives of those being held at gunpoint at risk. That's what could be happening here. Perhaps police need more time to find others who were involved in some way.
@@stonebone316 There is much truth in what you say. Yet it depends in what country you live in. In Belgium, an more specifically Flanders, police is not focused on helping people but more on fines as an extra way of income for the government. They use the lie of road safety. During the pandemic police where happy to fine you with 250€ for just sitting on a bench. Yes, police deserve respect but not when their primary goal is to bullying Jane or John Doe because they shit their pants when some drug related violence takes place in a city like Antwerp. No respect. I am sorry. And maybe I'm doing some injustice for that one cop that's in the business for the right reasons. They are, in Belgium, not there to serve and protect.
I hate aussie cops, worst in the world. the psyche of the place went very wrong during this time. a decade of scomo, rampant police corruption and a complicit media also. I mean the cops are fire bombing journalists in recent months, the government has been using the terrorist squad on aussie journalists, the Nsw cops are sexually abusing teenagers & manufacturing drugs on scale & laundering the money in full public view. thats not paranoid conspiracy mumbo jumbo. its just whats occurred over recent times, Im not excusing what these people have done, but can you trust aussie cops. do they have the skills to deal with situation like this. No. most of what cops deal with is domestic violence, they are also the biggest perpetrators of domestic violence of any profession in australia.. like is happening in QLD our police need a big shake up. both the corruption & their approach to their job in general.. see Danny Lim. that is on scale everyday. way over the top, no wonder they are hated and feared by ordinary people.
The tyrannical Australian government should own this. This is a perfect example of a tyrannical government overstepping their role to force its will on the people. I think it's a shame you took every opportunity to paint these freedom fighters as bad people or nut jobs. Yep the teachers with clean records minus some trumped up covid charges. IMO they asked for this to happen if they hadn't unarmed the majority of their citizens probably would have happen more. I don't feel bad for the police that lost their lives that day the same way I don't feel bad about Nazi soldiers being killed. Just doing my job doesn't cut it if your job is to enslave and murder your citizens. I could go on but that's probably enough. I'm sure my opinions are very unpopular with most.
Police brutality and authoritarian governments drive this kind of hysteria. The COVID lockdowns were draconian and fascistic the ONLY thing surprising is that more things like this didn’t happen. In the US they know the government is looking for ANY excuse to disarm the population and the gun owners are responsible. Thats why all gun laws are written in response to criminal acts but only limit legal access.. Governments dont want their populations armed. Thats why New Zealand disarmed after a foreigner took a boat with guns to their island and shot up a mosque. They turned over their own guns like cucks who wear masks when driving alone in the car.
The house was a fair way up the drive,so you had to jump the fence and walk a while before you got near the house. I remember as soon as I saw the house I kept yelling out and saying who I was and I found it a bit nerve wracking until the neighbour came out and could actually see me. When they say those officers didn't stand a chance, they were definately telling the truth. It's isolated there and I lived alone but I had a dog that let me know what was going on. I also left my roads rough so I could hear people coming. I am so glad I was out of there before they moved in. There are some lovely people that live in that area and anyone of us would go and check out smoke never suspecting of getting fired on. A very sad day at the blocks.
The script has such good writing and his voice is perfect for narration. I also like Mike’s channel. They are two very different ways of narration but both bring out the best. I’m so glad the both of them are gaining subscribers! After finishing the video I want to say thank you so much to this channel. The care Adrien gives to the lives of the victims is so important. I watch a lot of true crime videos and there are always stories on the perpetrators, how they became so deviant, how their family contributed, nature v nurture. While that is is interesting the same care should be given to the victims and CC does that as well.
I love you doing more recent news and the longer the better for videos. Honestly I love your channel and you, even when it was short videos. But I typically watch longer true crime videos because they’re more in depth and it allows to give more information about the victims and just enables the creator to give more information and give the more detailed history of the victims and their lives but also more info on the criminal and what led up to the crime. So you can make them as long as you want. I know I would be very happy with that. Great job 💜💜
This happened in my home town..Stacey was my brother and sisters teacher at Tara..both kids have told me she was a kind lovely teacher. She was Nathans wife not Gareth's.. Interesting fact is that their property had not been touched by the Queensland gas company yet..and a coincidence that after they were killed the government brought the property to turn into a training facility. These people are pushed as conspiracy theorists but they may of been harassed for years to sell up or let development on their property to mine the gas..hence the reason why they went to such extremes to protect their property as they knew eventually they would loose it..
Lots of anti God in this video. What the Bible says is truth. Just because the world has fell to evil and corruption, doesn't mean God has. What he said then, still applies. He created the world and gets to make the rules. He also created marriage. Just because people have ignored it, doesn't mean it's ok.
The fact that she married so young into a family where the men were so controlling makes me wonder if her own family wasn't also a bit more on the extreme religious conservative side. Maybe not to the extent that the 2 boys were brought up with (and definitely not the fanatical crap they got into as adults) but girls who are raised from childhood in the "women are supposed to obey and be subservient to their husbands no matter what" mentality sometimes end up in situations like these (the marriage/relationship situation, not the psycho shootout part).
Is anyone going to point out the obvious that the police officers jumped over their fence meaning they entered the property without consent. If this case was in America where you are allowed to shoot trespassers then it would be a totally different story.
@questionable8981
@questionable8981 Ай бұрын
THEY HAVE A WARRANT, and also if it were America, the cops would’ve fought back because American cops have superior body armour and weaponry if I remember properly. Also unlike the US, body armour isn’t worn in these situations (an arrest warrant) as most people aren’t armed. Also no you cannot shoot cops for trespassing property you crack head.
I don't condone what they did, it's a true tragedy what happened, but that being said jumping the fence with multiple signs saying no trespassing should be a no no. Definitely in these areas of Australia where people are actually armed, they should've tried to make contact with them from the front gate for awile instead of a couple honks. That's just me though RIP to the people that lost their lives that day.
we have more freedom than many countries. There are other countries where you can't express your opinion publicly, can't marry whomever you please, aren't able to practice the religion of your choice, where workers can be sacked without reason or recourse, where people can only own a certain amount of property and assets regardless of how hard they work, where people are being attacked in their homes by their own countrymen due to their ethnic background/religion, there are countries where children don't have the freedom to be whatever they want to be when they grow up, where girls aren't allowed to attend school, where women aren't allowed to play sports with their hair uncovered, where there are no social services for the homeless and disabled, there are countries where police can interrogate suspects without visually and audibly recording it.... I could carry on but we'd be here all day.... and you think Australians are having their freedoms taken away? I know there is corruption everywhere and likely here in Australia too but we have it a LOT better than most.
