This is what I thought, too. Valentina was so trusting as she grew up in a loyal family with no experience of such manipulation, narcissism and misogynism. After watching True Crime on a daily basis, I've come across many cases of young, trusting women being killed by narcissistic misogynists lately. Just yesterday, I watched a video about a woman of the same age being killed by a narc monster. Both women had the same thing in common- they grew up in a loving and trusting family and fell into manipulative, controlling, depraved men. Both were ambitious, hard-working, kind, highly sociable and widely loved. With narcissism and misogynism proliferating, it seems there has to be some syllabus at schools on how to spot red flags of your partner being manipulative, controlling and borderline abusive. It could save so many people from abusive relationships that might end up deadly. And it does not only affect women, men can also fall into manipulations.

Jealousy is a relationship killer ( no pun intended). Plain and simple folks, No man/woman will let another man/woman get close to them unless they want them to. And, if they do, there's nothing you can do to stop it. The best thing to do is walk away and find someone that wants only you. Getting jealous or possessive will only hurt the situation. Just walk away.

I have to say; having been to Colombia once and speaking Spanish since I was seven (I’m 37 now, lol), your description in the intro about the country was great. I’ve seen some interviews with Colombian celebrities-like Maluma & Sofia Vergara-and they’ve all mentioned how depressingly predictable it is when interviewers (or just people) mention their country’s history with cocaine, suppression of the people, violence, & the drug wars of the past. As if that’s all the country is known for? How ignorant. There are so many famous musicians, both modern & old school, plus thousands of plant species and varied ecosystems. From the tropical rainforests of Chocó on the Pacific coast to the high Andes mountains, the Caribbean north coast, Barranquilla… it’s beautiful!! Many of our most popular trending houseplants grow wild there as well! But the animals are extremely diverse in Colombia, from tiny poison arrow frogs to mountain lions, jaguars & ocelots. Monkeys, sloths, tapirs, otters, anteaters, deer, snakes… it’s endless. Plus, it’s consistently the #1 country for total species of birds yet it’s hardly the biggest nation on the planet! It’s also #2 for biodiversity, as in total number of plant & animal species-only beaten by Brazil at #1. A wondrous country for sure.. So your description was nice! 🇨🇴 ❤

Adrian, the one thing I’ll always admire about you is how you can manage to find these cases, research and present them week after week for us. It has to be mentally and emotionally exhausting for you. The reason I say this is because this one this week really got to me. This guy is a special kind of monster. The way he treated his first wife and what he did to her plus leaving her and the children (and one special needs child at that!) destitute then moving on? Stomaching all that is too much to handle but then to research Valentina… she sounded like an incredible young woman who had the world at her feet. A loving family, a kind and generous heart, creative nature, energy and remarkable beauty made her a memorable woman. For him to take her away and for you to find the details out is a lot to process too. So thanks Adrian, I really appreciate everything you do because I’m sure these cases affect your life. ❤ Rest in Peace Valentina. The world is a bit darker without your bright light. ❤

Adrian always describes situations in the most polite innocent ways, I respect him for it. But that's kinda obvious, a young girl looking for sugar daddy, meets old rich guy who pays for everything so she could live comfortably. A transactional relationship goes south and ends badly. All girls need to understand risks instead of dreaming of a princess life. Old dudes with money who scout for barely mature air headed girls are definitely not normal, there's always something sus about them. But hey... Money before everything I guess...
