I'm from Melbourne and I lived on the same Coburg street as Jill's murderer. I knew his face and saw him regularly in the neighborhood. I remember the missing posters and the march down Sydney Rd for Jill. There was a weight of sadness across the northern suburbs. The local church had a tower of flowers and candles out the front for a long time. I think you told the story very well and respectfully. Thank you for covering these stories. I really like this format.

Melbourne's such a small city sometimes, I used to pass by the Franco Cozzo (ina Brunswick, not Footascray) that they showed for IT purposes at the uni near there. She looks like a really Melbourne person, if that makes sense - as if you'd see her presenting the news on ABC or something.

I also basically lived on his street. Grew up in Coburg too. I love that area. It was very shocking, Jill and a few others losing their life around this time in similar ways. To the victims, rest peacefully and to their loved ones I'm so sorry for your loss.

My brother and I were stalked on the highway and nearly abducted by a serial killer driving a yellow Volkswagen , I can’t remember where in Florida but it was hot, I was 9 and my little brother was 7 we ran and had to climb over a dead cow that was in a dry creek bed it stunk real bad. The serial killer stopped his car and yelled out to me and my brother, he said your mommy is sick in hospital come with me! we ran and had to hide in a corn field! Bill Joe ran out of the corn field, as he wanted to go with man to see our mom but I threw a rock at my brother’s head to stop him going to the serial killer. I didn’t mean to kill my little brother! It was an accident I swear! I hid in the corn field until the serial killer left. I put my brother’s body under the dead cow. I told my parents he ran away and they believed me!😮

My mum had a too close encounter with the Frankston Serial Killer during his active months of murders. My dad worked for a trucking company, and had a fuel deal with a local servo. Mum was told by Dad to go fuel up the car, and let the server know it was to go on that particular log. After fuelling her car, she went in to talk to the staff. There was a man serving, she was the only customer. The man told her she needed to come into the back room to sign the paperwork for it. She followed, thinking this must be the usual protocol. He closed the door behind him. She got this immediate feeling that something was wrong. Before he could do anything, there was a ding. A customer had opened the front door. The man left to serve them, and mum left too. When she told Dad about it, he was confused. He’d never been asked to sign anything. It was months later that she was watching the news, the Frankston Serial Killer had been caught. Mum recognised him immediately as the man who served her that day, the one who led her to the back room and locked the door. We don’t know what he could’ve done that day, but she was literally saved by the bell. If that random person hadn’t walked in when they did, she might not have gone on to have another 2 kids, including me.

I love the idea of Nat's track. Her story ended so tragically but the fact that her final moments on earth now have a safe place for people to travel is a statement that her killer did not win, and she did not go down without a fight and will not be forgotten, nor will anyone else suffer as she did. I discovered this channel a few weeks ago and I can't explain how many episodes I've watched already and how I am even able to do so. I watch from the moment I wake up, while working, eating dinner, out for a drive, going to bed. This is insanity. The format, the presentation, the level of details, the story telling, down to the English accent and occasional dry British humor...it hits all the spots for me as a crime documentary junky and even spots I didn't realize I had. My only fear now is what happens if I run out of episodes and actually have to wait for them to get posted...I suppose watching them twice would actually not be the worst. How can I support this channel besides watching videos, I love your work.

Can't tell you chills i got seeing the hole in the fence. Around 1995/1996 when i was a teen, a friend was seeing a guy who lived in frankston. One day he took us down a track saying he wanted to show us something. He stood in front of the adult sized hole in a chain link fence, & said this is the hole that school girl was pulled through & murdered just there. Me and my friend panicked & rushed back out. I felt the blood drain out of me then & now all these years later seeing that image on the screen, matching my memory. I was going to tell my story with a note that maybe he picked a random track to scare us. But nope. Thats the one i saw. Feel horrified all over again. Thank you for your coverage & for visiting us (Im in Berwick.. around 15 minutes from Dandy North).

I always enjoy your videos - saw this one pop up and got super excited as I grew up in Langwarrin (right next to Frankston) and know a lot about the murders Paul Denyer committed. He was targeting attacks at women when my mum was pregnant with me, the whole area was absolutely terrified and it’s lucky he was caught promptly. Thank you for covering this and for your great research!!

I started being a fan last year, and I'm so impressed and amazed that you made this kind of video, I'm like legit crying I don't know why, your voice is like the voice of those who got murdered, you are their voice. Thank you so much for being there for them even if the world forget about them, be safe always and God Bless. I hope you can travel to south korea and tell us the story of those who can't anymore. More power 🎉

You have one of the most soothing and calming voices I’ve ever heard. I find myself drifting into every story that you narrate and even if the actual story isn’t the kind that I normally enjoy, I’m unable to leave it until you’ve finished. You really have got me through some very very tough times and I sincerely appreciate you for that. Please don’t ever stop hosting this kind of content as you would be sorely missed by so many. Also please include your beautiful cat more too 😻😻.. Thanks again from a Crazy Cat Lady !!! (My nickname from my neighbours!!) 😸😸

Like even traveling, I went to Akihabara in Japan and realized that the freedom of walking around in a blocked off street on Sunday was after a couple of years the Tomohiro Kato incident you covered a couple years back.

This was a very interesting video with the added bonus of you being on location, Adrian. I’m an American living in New Zealand. I really like all of the unique stories you cover from places other than the USA. I hope you’ll cover more locations in Europe and Asia. I also love Melbourne after experiencing the city on a long weekend with my husband to see the Harry Potter play there. It’s a fascinating city in that old buildings are mixed in with modern buildings. The beautiful designs, colours and murals on some buildings make it feel quirky and fun. Great city. Australia is home to some very shocking and unusual crimes, especially in and around Adelaide. It would be worth looking into those. Jill’s death was so utterly tragic and learning about her killer’s criminal history made it especially infuriating. I hope that monster never gets out of jail; I never trust that a life sentence will remain untouched after some time goes by and attitudes and laws change (case in point the current “reforms” to criminal justice in the USA). The serial killer is just terrifying and better never get out because he will always be a danger to others; some people can’t be rehabilitated. As for the missing man, the circumstances seem to indicate suicidal thoughts to me, but could also be the result of psychosis setting in for some reason. I hope his family gets answers before much longer. It must be agonising not knowing what happened to him. Take care of yourself, Adrian. Thanks for your hard work!
