This is the first cast I've watched by Tightrope and I enjoyed it, especially the gameplay tips which are so useful. I liked the anti-spoiler screen too, very polished. [Subscribed]

Yeah he got super unlucky quite a few times there, but such is the way it is. The RNG gods giveth, and the RNG gods taketh away.

I play for the Americans, a bazooka action movie, the tanks themselves are being repaired, and the crew can grab points, smoking is allowed, the infantry is just super). In general, the control remains visible, so that the hamburger on the other hand (100% made for Americans) sweats the control .. and how to win and sing at the same time, I think, what a cool strategist I am))

Assault engineers are so OP against OKW, you have to retreat until you get machineguns. Nothing can fight them. Any tips that you guys can offer, perhaps?

- Feuersturm commander is good since it offers Flammenwerfers to Sturms and MP40s, as well as Frag-nades and Smoke-nades, to Volks. Even so, the STG upgrade for Volks is fair enough, imho, to stand up to the Assault Engineers, if you engage them at long-medium ranges. > Avoid garrison and any sort of cover (but obviously avoid red cover, like open roads) against Assault Engineers' flamethrowers. Not sure if you knew but there's that. Kübelwagen can also bleed them nicely with some micro since it doesn't take extra damage from flamethrower (afaik). The main problem here is keeping the Kübel alive since alone it won't stand a chance. It's great support unit, though. - A Luchs is good since Assault Engineers can only lay mines, and laying mines delays their flamethrowers. Alternatively a Flak-track for suppression, but be mindful of microing the suppressed units so opposing bazookas don't get close. I'd almost go with Luchs since you can also get a Puma to counter any light (and medium armour with Elite Armored commander's HEAT ammo), but that's just personal preference. > Keep in mind that Flak-truck tech would allow you to better step into the Schwerer-truck and get some heavier armour against the USF tanks, since Tech-truck does cost quite a hefty amount of fuel. - Also to note, since Assaults Engineers are required to stay still to be able to use their flamethrowers, a Leig might not be a bad choice either. Since USF don't get their 82mm Mortar right from the get-go, a Leig might be a good unit to catch the opponent off-guard. Just leave them in the background and let them pound away freely at the opponents. - Luftwaffe commander's Fallschirmjägers are excellent but expensive, and feel a bit more fragile in comparison to Sturms or Volks; so good micro, ambush tactics, use of fog-of-war and tactical use of cover is necessary. Regardless, they out-punch every other infantry in OKW arsenal in regards of raw damage at medium-short ranges. > Note that the Fallschirms require 3 CPs -ish (I can't remember the exact number) so they aren't an instant early-game counter to the Assault Engineers. Finally, all this is coming from a teamplay (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) point of view, since I don't play 1v1 much at all. Hence I might be mistaken on the 1v1 meta on my tips. If anyone more experienced or knowledgeable reads this and finds any faults I welcome them to correct me and inform both myself and original poster.

@@Myrskylintu Thanks a lot for the tips, I've only recently started experimenting with stuka barrages since this entire game is based on blobbing to win, with mixed results. I'll apply that to assault engineers if I get the chance. The very early game against AEs is the worst.

@@chromitehertz9016 -- Anytime. And also, I'd recommend always going for some kind of light armour before a Stuka since it's so easy to rush down if it's without any backup; even if such investment do slow down Stuka's construction quite a bit. About at the time when you get a Walking Stuka, it's likely that the opponent has a T-70, a Military Truck with bazookas (Stuart in rare cases), or AEC Armored Car out, if they're not saving up for late game heavier armour. A few Rakettens and a snare (faust, well placed mines) can keep it safe but I personally feel a lot safer to use a Stuka when I have a Luchs or a Puma to provide backup.
