Coheed And Cambria Fans.....FEELIN' YOU!!! Making their debut on the channel to-NIGHT, we have Coheed And Cambria with a song entitled "Welcome Home". FULL DISCLOSURE: This is one of those moments where I had no idea I had heard a part of song before, until I heard it being played. I had that "Ah Hah" moment, and I fully confess that I did in fact recognize that part of song. I still went on to react to the rest of the song, because I only recognized that one part. I'm just being honest with you guys and gals. How's this one gonna go? Only one way to find out...

DH, I have an idea for ya. If a song/performance intrigues you enough, you get to make an executive decision to expedite an additional reaction to another song by the band. I was not expecting to see Welcome Home here but I'm glad I did, that palm tree can rock the crap out of that guitar. This is the first song I heard from the group, and it still stands as one of the best guitar solos I know, and I am also glad that I can play it! Funny story, I remember showing this song to my art teacher one time and after he played it, he would put it on after every class and even played their other albums, it was incredibly humbling, for me. Their drummer Josh really, really feels it when he plays and it shows in the live performances and in the songs, I wished they showed more of him in this set, the Sydney set is one of the better sets here on KZbin from Coheed imo. No World for Tomorrow is a banger as well. Also, as someone who's been playing guitar for years now and not learned a single thing apparent from the simple E, G, D, C chords etc., and finally being able to play the guitar upside down, behind the head and without blinking, I knew I made it as a guitarist. I remember playing guitar hero and rock band being able to not play anything. Lol

Try "Ladders of Supremacy". It is off their new album released like two months ago. If you have to react to live performances only then "The Final Cut" is what you should look for.

I don’t know about anyone else but when I heard the first song I ever listened to by coheed and cambria I immediately knew this was my band Since that day I’ve gone to 4-5 concerts in 6 years of listening to them they will always be my favorite band 🤘🤘

My mom would always start conversation during guitar solos on drives. It never failed! Still, props to my mom for letting me play my music on drives! DH has a good excuse, would suck to see the video get blocked. And he rewound!!

What I love about this band is the fact the Claudio(Vocalist) can play difficult riffs while singing at the same time. And also that the songs are about his Science Fiction graphic novel called The Amory Wars. This is my all time favorite band and 2nd would be Babymetal (I know it's kind of weird.)

This took me back 20 years! The albums were a cohesive story, dreamt up by Claudio(lead guitar), where the whole album told a narrative. Claudio, also wrote the graphic novel series. I lost touch with the band, 10 years ago, which I regret. Saw them live once, in London, and they were amazing.

I've only recently started listening to Coheed and Cambria. Their newest album released this year is fantastic. I'm actually a big fan of Claudio's voice. Reminds me of old school rock singers like Plant and Gillan.

Should react to In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, The Crowing, Gravity's Union, The Dark Sentencer or The Gutter. All absolute bangers by the band. This was also not a normal performance by the band as Claudio, the lead singer was not using his usual double neck guitar for the song.

Claudio's voice can definitely be an acquired taste for some. His sound is sometimes compared to Geddy Lee. Also worth noting that this song is often performed as an encore after a long show and thus, his voice is tired and it's probably not the best representation of his talent.

Honestly I would say this one of the "worst" recorded renditions of this song live. Something about the way this sounds is off from how they normally sound live.
