Your reaction definitely brightened my day, and I needed it, so thank you ❤ It's always fun as a fan to see people react to a favourite band's less know material, special live performances, and in this case, rare covers they did. It was especially great to see someone very familiar with the original react to the cover. While Linkin Park only rarely did covers, Chester did quite a few cover performances with supergroups like Camp Freddy and Kings of Chaos; I'm really curious if you've ever seen any of those?

@@THEDavidHeretic Camp Freddy was a hard rock supergroup from 2012-2014, with core members including Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), Billy Morrison (plays guitar with Billy Idol) and Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), with Donovan Leitch on vocals; they had various famous guest appearances. Chester did multiple guest appearances with them, including performances of "Highway To Hell", "Paradise City", "Ace of Spades", "Whole Lotta Love", "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", "Mountain Song", "I Alone" and more. Kings of Chaos is a current hardrock supergroup with Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan and Gilby Clarke of Guns N' Roses, but also artists like Billy Duffy (The Cult), Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilot) and Steve Stevens (Billy Idol guitarist). Chester performed with them several times, performing songs like "Whole Lotta Love", "Fire Woman", "White Wedding", "Edie", "Interstate Love Song", "Love Removal Machine", "Vasoline" and more. Chester also performed "Whole Lotta Love" at a Rock To Recovery show in 2016. The recordings of the performances are of various quality; and some are highly treasured by fans despite the inferior quality of the recording. Great reaction, DH! As a music lover and Linkin Park fan, I couldn't tell you sh@t about D or E minor. I never heard NIN's version. So, it was interesting hearing your analysis. The only NIN song that I've heard is, Closer. They weren't really on my radar but, I might have to check out more of their stuff. I liked the song and I agree with you. Chester's trademark energy and vocals sold it for me. If you don't, already, know. Chester, briefly, joined Stone Temple Pilots and released an EP of original songs. He, also, performed live with them and covered a lot of Scott Weiland's original songs. It's all on YT. You should check them out and react to it. IMO, as a huge STP fan, he did Scott justice. He sounded a lot like him and, definitely, a different style than we're used to from Chester. Edit: Oh, I waited 'til the end to give you that like. Edit 2: The, only, other NIN song I know is, Hurt. That's because of Johnny Cash, of course.

The version released on Underground 4.0 or the Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition is slightly different and features a 15 second scream, check it out in your own time David. You'll love it more than this.
