this game got a low rating of 6/10 on some review sites while games like Valhalla and Cyberpunk garner a whopping 10/10 while being half baked and glitchy and buggy and a whole lotta un finishiend. this game was very pleasant and fun, beautiful to look at, and when you master the movement it plays so well ! id give the game a 8/10.

I randomly got this game bc I wanted something to play on a flight & over holidays & I knew this had cross platform saves. It's literally my fave game of the year, & my roommate liked it so much that she exchanged Cyberpunk to get it. 🤣 Fenyx is a hybrid of Disney writing/ voice acting + God of War combat + AC Odyssey Greek myth story + Zelda BotW shrines. The humor is great tbh, the world is beautiful, u can fly & ride a horse & u can customize a gorgeous protagonist & change them at any time. Even by 2 hours in, u have multiple different attacks, ranged/ bow, strong/ axe, light/ sword, etc. Plus, there is multiple DLC coming including one based on Chinese mythology & another that's isometric!

I agree, this honestly was my favorite game of the year and it came out of no where, i didn't know about it before release. It's such a well polished game, putting other game launches to shame with the amount of bugs in all released games these days. This is like back in the 90's/early 2000's when you bought a game and expected it to work, back then it was unheard of to buy a $60 game and have bugs. But these days it's so rare to find a game that launches to polished. This is one of them and it was amazing! You can tell devs put a huge amount of care into making everything user friendly too, a lot of quality of life mechanics that i don't typically expect from a newly released game these days.

I agree Fenyx was surprisingly my game of the year. My roommate saw it & liked it so much that she exchanged Cyberpunk for it. This game is just fun. The combat is nearly as robust as God of War, yet u don't get bored of it bc there are many other things to do & explore in the open world. We had Fenyx over the holidays & all our cousins loved it too, even the "bro-y" ones who usually only play sports games & FPS 🤣

I notice Fenyx has made its way higher up the bestseller ranks in the Nintendo Switch eShop & is now in top 10. Since the patch it runs beautifully & has cross-platform save. I even bought my cousin a unicorn in the cash shop to support this game

Don't forget the in game store is also all just buy what you see absolutely no loot boxes. Also dunno about you but it took me till I was half way through unlocking each God till I actually accedentally stumbled on the Store itself

im not playing it as it is... i have had 2 sessions of around 3 houers each lost to the game stopping and i have to restart it on xbox x then when i booth it up again. all the auto save/quicksaves are gone and the saved game i can load are the save i loaded when i started playing that session.... its sutch a big bummer i loose all interest, but els then this its a great game,,, and i cant see any plan to patch this game

And also when I put a hazma suit, I can`t replace it. Besides that the games runs super cool. I love it. I finished AC Valhalla and now I play CP2077 and Immortals. Great days of joy!

I finsihed almost 20 + games this yr and by far the best AAA game released. I put in about 88 hrs and never was bored. A rare acheivement if you like Darksiders/ Tomb Raider/ OG God of War you cant lose. The one very bad thing is enemy variety and boss fights are just basic nothing epic.

@@magaeraastralis9972 Outfits can be cosmetics, weapon skins, and even character customization can all be "cosmetics" so they charge for the game and still sell you item looks in a single-player game why not just charge more if they can't make enuff off the sale of the game? I looked up the game and It isn't free on xbox it's like 40$ with a 30% discount. Expansions or DLC "IS NOT" cosmetics and generally are ok because they are expansions, not ITEM customizations to nickel and dime you. He said at 4:44 they have a cash store (does P2W even matter in a single-player game?) SO a cash shop Like Bethesdas been trying to do with "mini dlc's"? a cash shop for a single-player game you pay for? that's is just to nickel and dime you for more money instead of just giving you all the items and charging more for the game, SO to get the game AND all the item (looks aka the complete game) you'll what, need to spend over 100$-1k?, 5 dollar outfit here 5 there. it's just milking the player.

Really didn't like it, the combat is really meh. Everything feels like busywork. It feels like a lot of content was cut with you having to buy powers that definitely seem like they'd be dungeon / story rewards. Too many puzzles, none of them interesting just, you know the solution now waste 5 min executing it. It doesn't respect your time with unskippable animations after crafting or doing things. Just a meh game, I've better games to play that aren't boring open world busywork.

The way you use the word "hard" gets really confusing Cohh. In a recent dropped frames you used it in a way where it sounded like a negative thing but you meant it in a positive way. It's not a big deal but grammatically it's confusing. Loving these new thoughts videos though!

Game stinks fam, this game is an indicator of how low the bar be that something like this is seen as tolerable to todays "gamers". Story and visuals don't make a game, and the story is annoying either way. Its just a crap open world with all the ultra grindy upgrade bs, like everything behind an experience wall and everything was boring. Puzzles are way to time draining for how bad the rewards are. The button combos are shit too kinfolk. Breath of The Wild was 1000X times this game! This feel like they took that trash open world they were working on and added a new hat or something. Its barely different to other Ubisoft garbage or sony shovelware clones. Damn.
