The male vampire model remind me of the "Headbanger" units in Brutal Legend xD - but overall I'm really liking this game. Wish the castle heart consumed less blood essence (or less quickly), had to log off on 1st night, came back and my castle was torn down with 2 others nearby and was like "Well.. that was a waste of time"; so I setup a private server.

I saw this released a few hours ago on steam, with pretty mixed reviews. But this actually looks pretty cool. (+ the reviews jump up a lot) I´m gonna give this a try.

People salty players from battlerite, a game with niche but immaculate arena pvp. The studio's previous game, some mismanagement from the devs but pvp only games barely survive sadly enough

@@Spriktor Yeah, I just focus on solo, maybe with few close friends. One thing I don´t like about this game (and in general) is that you have to be constantly online, even when solo. Which also means no pause. That said, I bought this game at around midnight, to try it out, and now I can see the sun up from my window. (I need sleep.) It´s fun.

@@johnyshadow not necessarily- its easy to fill your blood well with a lot of blood, even more once you get a blood press. Then it lasts foe days to week+ so no need to be online every single day

@@Spriktor Sorry, not what I meant. There is no offline play. You need internet connection at all times if you want to play, even alone/solo.

They are working on offline, but you van make it run on a server on your own rig for literal local ping foe the time being. If you dont have basic WiFi then rip

He has amd fsr 1.0 turned on. Makes the image really soft and blurry. I hope chat tells him eventually.

Yeah, I think that's the kind of feedback, that early-access is good for. I wouldn't be surprised if that gets removed before the final release

I mean it's pretty typical for survival games. Valheim, conan etc all have them. Maybe you can upgrade it and it reduces the timer

You can run around and play the game as normal while timers count down you don't have to stand around and wait for them...

Tbh they should stop making hostile wolves in games. They arent and never have been very hostile to us as we are smaller than them and not much food. Theyve just had a bad rap for a long time

wish they wouldve called it just Rising or The Risen and given us the choose to be vamp or human, even other creatures. i just feel that with it being just vamp will make it a niche game with niche mechanics that will only appeal to fans of just that niche...idk

For me its not valheim. Its conan exiles. You can play solo but amount of resources for everything is ridiculous for one person. Valheim is less resource requairy... and its random generated world. And this is not.

no support for controllers at all? that's a bit daft. It's been over a decade since i had to use an emulator to use a controller on PC. What an antiquated concept. If the Dev's need more buttons than a controller offers for this type of game, they've gone wrong somewhere in the UI.

I was interested until I heard there is no controller support, and this is something that all games even pc games nowadays should have controller support because not everyone uses mouse and keyboard.

I was sad that it didn't have controller support. I wanted to play it so I downloaded it earlier today. Only problem is because of space limitation I don't have a computer desk. My pc is hooked up to my tv in the living room and the mouse and keyboard sit on top of the tower. I play most my games with a controller because I would have to basically kneel on the floor to use the mouse a keyboard. Totally on me, I need to stop putting off buying / renting a bigger house now that 2 more people and a dog have joined me since I moved into this home. I just need more space and a propper pc desk.

Your loss. So many great EA games that are out now and over 1000 EA games have reached v1.00 and left EA. maybe a few years ago it was reasonable to take that stance but now... like I said, your loss.

@@TheT0nedude And, if it comes out of Early Access, I can always pick it up. However, like so many of these games, most people have stopped playing them long before they feature complete and out of early access. I cannot think of one early access game that I personally would consider a success.

Actually that's not true. There's a few that spring to mind. However, more often than not, they're not true early access games.
