why did you reroute your wiring harness at the end, is that because of the coilovers or was that for something else?
@TomboysOnlyFool11 ай бұрын
You reroute the harness as a preemptive measure because it is notorious for getting chewed up after the car is lowered since it originally is in the wheel well.
@Cole.sc311 ай бұрын
Yes, the harness is located in the wheel well, practically right on top of the drivers side tire.

I was told that on many vehicles with towers you can often drop the strut out without removing the shock, for just replacing the strut for example. Is this possible on the 400?
@Cole.sc35 ай бұрын
Shock is the component in the middle of the spring, strut is the whole component, you’d have to remove the whole thing to replace the “shock”

@Cole Those Tein's look mint and hardly used. Did you say $150 for all 4? I would keep using them until they wear out!

What torque did you put on those two bolts that hold the bracket on both fronts?
@Cole.sc3 Жыл бұрын
47ft/lbs is the spec I found online, personally I just did them as tight as I could with a 3/8ths ratchet if I remember correctly.

About to by coilovers for my 93 sc300, how is the ride? Are coilovers really rough riding?

No actually since these are the tiens, they are really smooth which brand are you going with

@@Cole.sc3 not sure at the moment, long story short is I ordered struts and lowering springs and today the guy who I ordered lowering springs said he doesn’t have anymore. And I can’t find any sc300 lowering springs for sale so I was just going to go with coilovers

@@seanjanda4460 I would for sure go with coilovers, even though they are more expensive the adjustment of ride height alone makes it worth it!
