Anyone have an idea way coinops next 2 keeps switching to the marquee for game play? Everything is normal till u select the game to play and the cabinet screen goes blank and the game starts on the marquee.

The Mini really exceeded my expectations, the screen rotation feature is really neat and I enjoy playing it sitting on a chair vs standing up with 5" riser on the ALU, keep watching Sams, they are coming in and out of stock.

@@carlo1132 agree yes👍 im very suprised and all the options ..i thought at first the screen may be to small but its not bad and good quality even sound is decent. Also ive heard people say artwork on it is bad etc in person I honestly like it really have no complaints for 200 especially! No riser and easy to put together also a plus. Btw Thanks Pdubs ill keep a eye out on sams i did notice the pinball was in and out and did catch it happy to say really like it as well👍

Hi PDubs. Great videos! These videos have been a great help to a newb in the AtGames community like me. I do have a question. I have a BitLcd and have downloaded the marquee packs. The vast majority work, but some are named wrong so only words show up on a black screen on the BitLcd. This may be a dumb question, but how do you know what to change the name to in order for it to pull the image correctly? I can see that many of the ones that don't work have images, but they are just named wrong. Any help is appreciated!

Oh well you would have to plug your bitlcd drive into your PC and change the name to match the game on the coinopsx drive which would also be plugged into your pc

Different artwork. Not just adding sidebars, or only stretching the marquees dimensions. The majority are custom extensions, the majority are brand new many of which are the best quality on the internet (including hundreds with hand done pixel cleanup that makes them the cleanest to date).

Is there ever need to update the LCD firmware after installing these ad on packs? Even after installing 3.0 there are still several systems with no graphics such as Nintendo, Atari, etc. Someone had mentioned to me I should try that.

So to my knowledge (it's been a year) the marquee packs were just for the Arcade games not for console games and should have mostly everything on there that's included in a public coinopsx build.

OK I’ve been reaching out a different forms and I guess that’s what the answer is. First, I thought somehow something was wrong like we always think. The large majority of the arcade games do work. The other ones such as Nintendo, PC Atari, etc.. not that I play any of those Platforms. I just want to make sure it’s working the way it should.

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I'm so excited to have the marquee working with CoinOpsX!! However, the recommended flat USB cable did not work when plugged into the BitLCD. It did work correctly when plugged into my PC so I don't know what the deal is with it. I also exchanged the cable thinking the first one was damaged but got the same results.

@@SavedByZero Ya I am not sure whats going on with atgames but everything I got recently has been flawless. The new ALP says 16gb but shows 8GB, the haptics are fantastic, I hope the control deck haptics are as good, no buzzing, strong, for exciters they are great. Both the ALU Mini and ALP had pretty much zero flaws in the wood, screens, ect. I am hoping the ALU is the same. I expect Atgames to be releasing a new ALU with the RK 3399 thats in the core max and ALP as well as the iiRcade or jumping to RK 3588, if they did that and put a 32" rotating bezel in it, that would put all the competition away for good!

@@carlo1132 Glad to hear that you've been having luck with your orders. An ALU Max seems natural and I'm also hoping that a bundle with the BitLCD will be coming - especially if it helps with the pricing in Canada. All of this sounds like great material for Multicade Monday! 😁

I had moved and my ALU had been in the new basement collecting dust for the past year. Finally got it booted up and installed the bitlcd (despite the firmware update issues), this tutorial was super helpful. Man, it is a beautiful sight seeing all those marquees accurately represented! Life is good!

The new version is very nice indeed, but I have a lot of missing files for for example the Tetris games and some others. Strange because all the files are there but some are renamed like "Tetris_OLD" etc. I wonder why this has been done.

I copied the files as shown in the video and when I put the flash drive back in nothing shows on my bit lcd. I tried unplugging and plugging it back in to power and it shows no signal and then goes blank. Any suggestions as to what I should try?

@@PDubsArcadeLoft Had a little trouble installing it, but it was my fault lol. Mine is a Sam's version 1.1, and all of the youtube videos seem to be for the 1.0. My main issue was that I didn't install the extra USB stick in the back of the Bit LCD monitor, I just assumed I didn't have to since I had the coinopsX stick installed. I thought the coinopsX stick was supposed to have all of the artwork installed on to it already. I'm almost finished with the resources update, then I'm going to work on adding these new artwork files. Thanks for the video explanation on how to update my mem stick!

So I’m generally pretty good at all this stuff but for some reason when I copied/overwrote the old stuff, now many of the built-in games, especially ones with TM in the title no longer display on my ALU 1.0. Not quite sure what happened. Gonna start from scratch and try again on my days off (tomorrow)
