Justin Timberlake returned to the stage Friday night for his first concert since being arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York on Tuesday.
“It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” Timberlake told a cheering crowd at the United Center in Chicago. “I know sometimes I’m hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back.”
Timberlake will hit the stage again Saturday for a second night of the “Forget Tomorrow” world tour in Chicago.

It has to do with the hypocrisy of his marriage or relationships, their break up and her mental health. His acting like he was innocent and they were the problem. I'm seeing both sides - is he a douchey guy who didn't address the dwi appropriately? Yes ... he could have killed someone .... but performing is his job and it happens to be a job that thousands of people pay a lot of money for tickets, hotels, planes, food etc so canceling actually is a big deal - anyone who works at McDonald's or Whattaburger or a grocery store wouldn't not go to work a few days after a DWI so why should he cancel? Especially when his job impacts all his employees his band, his roadies, and the concert goers.... doing the concert isn't the problem but the way he addressed it is....there is a way to address it more appropriately with the right amount of contrition without jeopardizing his case...I also would never suggest someone is on drugs unless I actually saw them taking them- it's a very dangerous and damaging accusation... not even JT should be accused of being on drugs just because he looks crazy in the crowd ... every " celebrity" loves the public adoration - otherwise they wouldn't do what they do ... huge artists like Adele, Taylor Swift and yes. JT don't make music just to make music - they do it because they can and are good at it but it's the " fans" that make them successful or not - so they 100% do it for the publicity, celebrity and adoration - ... if they didn't want the stardom they would have quit like so many others have! As for the " crazy eyes" - I've always thought he looks intense and crazy when performing - it's actually pretty normal for him - go look at any clip of him performing and he always has this intense look in his eyes. I've read that he's very controlling and demanding with his band and team almost to OCD level ... he drives his team hard, the band and dancers etc and expects perfection ... but I've read that several places over the years....

Trust me those stage lights are HOT & BRIGHT, and when you have a lot going on around you in those moments when you're sweating, sometimes you have to make a conscious effort to keep your eyes open big because you still have to maintain focus even when salty, stingy sweat starts getting in your eyes.
