Bob Odenkirk seems like the awesome fun uncle who is always pranking and/or joking around with the family at reunions and holidays. The type who is just as comfortable at the adult's table as he would be at the kid's table poking fun and giving the nephews a hard time about the ladies. The truth is he really reminds me of my uncle Todd who is a great guy and someone I look up to and respect greatly.

btw for anyone that hasn't watched yet, Better Call Saul is really friggin good. There's a ton of stylistic similarities between it and Breaking Bad, but without the increasingly douchey main character (I never liked Walter White, even if he did have his moments).

I like the gas station shortcut story. The same thing happened to me back in high school (before they allowed right turns on red in Texas). My slightly older best friend Steve had just gotten an ancient Buick from his grandmother, and we got stopped for cutting through a gas station to avoid a red light. Now that's the same as Odenkirk's story, but what makes mine a little sweeter is that, as he was wheeling through the gas station, he turned to me with a dumb teenage grin and said, "When you've been driving for awhile you learn a few tricks of the trade." Fortunately for Steve, I didn't have the cojones to go into court and pretend to be his lawyer.
