Jeff Winger. Yeah, I agree! Stephen gets as outrageous as he can get! Then he gets sort of fatherly like, or whatever, while these 2 amazing ladies, who have been famous for years, are talking about vibrators. It's funny, but then I sort of don't get it. It would be like a man up there talking about jacking off. Oh, and that certainly wouldn't be acceptable. You horrible men!! Nothing against women, but these woman role models shouldn't be talking about vibrators. Men could get arrested for going too far with this.

I remember Jane's "traitorous" behaviour when I was 11 or 12. My brother was in VN twice even tho he didn't have to. Even now I can see in my mind the pictures and stories about "Hanoi Jane". however many years have passed and I can really enjoy her work now. About this interview, I saw some real surprise on Jane's face when Colbert pulled out her mug shot. She looked very deflated when he did that. He should have cleared that with her before he did it. She was pretty upset about it and I was upset for her. I would really like to slap his smart ass face.. it smacks of passive aggressive to me. I think he did it on purpose just to see what she would do. Do I have to tell you now that I like her?

My only criticism of this video clip is that it should have been AT LEAST 3 times longer! These two brilliantly smart and funny women, Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin, are American treasures in a time when our cultural fabric is suffering a death by a 1,000 cuts (mostly from Trump & Co., Inc.'s devastating budget cut proposals)! Please, Stephen Colbert, have them back soon for much longer, okay? Okay then!

Laughter is laughter.
@TommyChardonneret7 жыл бұрын
+J. Criquette Excuse me, but are you saying that the laughter evoked by Donald Trump mimicking the physical difficulties of a disabled reporter "is" the laughter that Lily Tomlin has evoked so brilliantly, insightfully, and compassionately throughout her entire career? The many forms of laughter ARE NOT FUNGIBLE AND EQUAL, and therefore your equivalent of saying laughter = laughter is, to say the least, troubling in these days of laughter through heartless mockery coming from the very American people's White House itself. Why did you even bother to type out your comment? Seriously, that's not a merely rhetorical question on my part. What did you intend "to contribute" by such a vacuous equivalency that parallels "life is life" when there are many millions of forms of life? Very curious about this, Jiminy the "conscience" moniker française.
@TommyChardonneret7 жыл бұрын
+ILost MyTongs Me, too, and from the language and tone of the many diverse yet consistently adulatory comments, it seems to be from men of many different ages. That's a very good sign in these days of utterly crass misogyny being uttered from the American White House no less!

Thomas Goldfinch I hope you're watching their Netflix series "Gracie & Frankie!" I'm hoping it keeps a big following so they'll be more seasons approved and added! It's really a great show. The other actors in it are great too! There are two male veteran actors in it also. Unfortunately I can't think of their names at the moment. Even if you don't have Netflix, they offer a FREE 30 day trial period. Which is more than enough time to binge on the three seasons!
