and why not all them, this thing about victims, takes away temporarily the art of sensual temptation or job landing. it's what they've used to get the jobs, get door opened and dinners paid for. they plainly used the best of their advantage and then called themselves victims when there was money, more money on the table. it's entirely different when date raped with or without medication. pinching a boob or a slap on the ass as she walks by, is only normal and a complement. it's evolutions excuse for keeping, when needed.

The ability to make distinctions ("this woman is a *little* different from the other billion, so I will marry her instead of the others"), and the ability to not make sweeping generalizations spanning entire lifetimes of world events and people ("this government's political decisions during that 1964 tenure altered its country a *little* different from what the 1994 tenure did in the 125 other countries") are some of the most important earmarks of intelligence, and outcomes for our children.

@manysnakes
@manysnakes 7 жыл бұрын
Obama's drone war is certainly criminal, but I never understood what anyone expected him to do about the problems in Chicago. As though his being black or a Chicagoan meant that he could wave a wand and make it go away, or that stopping local acts of gun violence were a thing that a president could or should be responsible for.
@theeverlastingman
@theeverlastingman 7 жыл бұрын
darkasthegrave Well, a lot of Chicago's violence was insinuated by massive gun control laws in the city that created a large demand for illegal guns in the black market. Where ever the black market is strong, crime follows.
@hotelfoxtrot4979
@hotelfoxtrot4979 7 жыл бұрын
The so called "drone strikes" during Obama's tenure were not criminal nor were they whatever false equivalency, false narrative, false "morality" you want to paint it with... they may or may not have been the "best choice" or the "most equinimitible", but spare me the false morality bullshit... Obama was ALWAYS a thoughtful and prescient commander in chief... stupid and reactionary false narratives based on your half truths does not qualify as thoughtful.

I guess it depends on how you feel about what youre calling your 'self'. If 'mistakes' are also the way we respond to experiences, then maybe it would be a good thing to go and change some of those responses, but you cant do that until you properly understand why its good you resond differently. When i say 'self' here im referring to what people usually mean when they use that word, which is an unstable identity composed of concepts/beliefs.

Living your Life with no regrets does NOT mean you can live your Life free of consequences...it means you're supposed to live a good Life to assure yourself the reward of 'Heaven' in the 'Afterdeath'......you should definitely regret anything you did that would push you towards the path of 'Hell' but with that being said, since the 'Past' cannot be changed all we can do is to first recognize THEY WERE mistakes and then secondly learn from those mistakes to start back on the path towards 'Heaven'. #FecesHappen

I always flash on George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can't Say On TV" routine.... "You've all heard the line about, 'I'd rather have my child see a film of two people making love than two people trying to kill each other.' It's a wonderful sentiment, I wish I knew who said it.... But I got to thinking, what if we substituted the word 'fuck' for the word 'kill' in all those movies we grew up watching? 'Okay sheriff, we're gonna fuck you now... but we're gonna fuck you slow!'"

One of my favourite quotes from my late dad, "If you don't vote, you vote for whoever gets in!"
@frchriswrexham
@frchriswrexham 5 жыл бұрын
@Cliff Hanley Hey there Cliff, thanks for your reply. Think about it! Loads of other readers get it. If you don't stand up and be counted against a policy, party or individual in a democratic society then you are (passively) supporting that policy, party or person. Too many people think that, "My vote is only one vote, it doesn't really count!" But they fail to understand that there are hundreds, thousands or even more thinking exactly the same which is why, all too often, elections fail to reflect the true mood of the nation. I ran for local government last year and lost out by just 7 votes. Yes, that's right - just 7. If another 7 or more individuals had been bothered to get out and vote I'd be an elected councillor right now. Being a part of a democratic nation is an honour and a privilege. But there is a duty associated with that - to take part in that democracy. After all 'democracy' actually means 'the will of the people'. I actually extend my dad's saying when I hear people criticising politics and I ask - before answering their question - if they voted at the last election? If they answer 'no' then I tell them they have no right to criticise.

@taher tufenkeji My friend, I'm not in the USA, I'm in another country with a broken government - the UK! I'm an external observer to the US electoral process and I see many positives to the US system, but way more negatives. My only advice to you and your friends is to not give up. The worst thing that can happen in the face of this awful, systemic attack on its own citizens is to lie down and do nothing. Make your votes count. If you have to get a bus and take you and your friends miles to get to your nearest voting station, make sure you vote. Voting apathy is the enemy of democracy. That's what Trump and his cronies are counting on - so don't let them get away with it. Pass the word. Big hugs and much support and prayers, my friend.

Oh Lord, bring back Louis C.K. Especially now, we need someone like him - genuine, honest, not afraid to say anything that's in everyone's mind but afraid to say it. In other words, he's our go-to-guy. Please, come back, Louis. (Rememer the movie "Shane"?)

No-one expects trump to say or do anything intelligent, we just keep watching this reality show to see how inept and incompetent he can go. Apart from the jaw-dropping entertainment circus value, the mainstream (lamestream) media should IGNORE and NOT BROADCAST *any* trump appearances. In the case of this president, NO news is better than FALSE news. We can learn and prepare much better without his distractions.

even more true about Franken. same business. proportionally [and that is what the concept of justice is based on] if Franken got one day in jail for his sex-related misconduct, Trump should get 25 years in jail for for his sex-related misconduct. That would be proportionate to what they actually did.

"Aged beautifully?" Are you SERIOUS? There's even a name for this aged-old-as-fuck-like-milk confirmation bias. It's called "Godwin's Law." Stupid people NEVER ask questions, as if (psh!) public education makes you intelligent enough not to bother! Haha!

I'm not serious, Larry. ;) I'm familiar with Godwin's law, as I attended private school. I'm also not a Trump accuser; quite on the contrary. My original quirk was to ridicule Louis, as he was the very thing that he accused Trump of being. The irony is quite breathtaking!
