I don't care if a band changes their sound as long as that sound is good. And I feel the fans who are stuck in the past are really missing out because this is some of the best music they've done in recent years, and that's really saying a lot.

JackHammer87 I would imagine most people agree regarding a band changing their sound. Some people aren't going to agree that this change is good. It happens. Saying people are "stuck in the past" is silly. Maybe they prefer rock and roll with a sound that's more focused on heavier guitars and don't care for this type of pop.

I really do not get how some people think that artists need to stay completely the same after so many years. There are so many factors in how and why people change their sound and style: growing up, different ideas, lineup changes, personal preferences, life changes. People need to, at the very least, stop whining about how they’re “not the same Paramore”. You can have personal preferences on which era you like, but you have to let them grow and still have the chance to become inspired by new things all while being considerate and respecting their new process. So instead of wasting your time complaining on how they’ve changed, you can use that time to go listen to old Paramore songs. Paramore, in my opinion, excelled at this shift in their sound and style. Change is pretty much inevitable in almost every artist, no matter how big or small the change is and people need to realize that.

@jamessorge31973 жыл бұрын
This performance is the culmination of a band and performer in Hayley that has been seasoned on the road and seen some shite in the music industry while perfecting their craft and sound. Everything from the wardrobe, to the lighting, stage presence and camera awareness to the dancing and every little movement Hayley makes, come across as a conscience artistic decision that has been practiced to perfection while remaining to feel natural. Everything down to the the actual playing of and singing of the song was the work of true professional entertainers doing something original and unique while also feeling like a complete homage to 80s pop bands and MTV music videos. As if stirring a nostalgia for something that had never even existed yet. The influences are there, they’re present and yet it so well produced and put together it’s like nothing else that’s ever been put out there. This is Paramore self realized and turned up to 11. One of my favorite performances on a late night show or otherwise for a wide variety of reasons, both universal and personal. It’s just everything a musical performance should be. The epitome of entertainment at its peak. The precipice of a band of artists showing they made it and confidently displaying their art for the world! 🔥👏🔥❤️🔥

Reading a lot of comments complaining about the complaining comments, but I'm not seeing much of the comments they're complaining about. 🤔 I guess people will complain about anything, even if it doesn't exist.

Terra Estrahl Someone doesn't understand the comments section. Those negative comments were downvoted where you have scroll all the way down to find them. The comments complaining about said negative comments have been upvoted enough where they're the first comments you see.

i love her performance. this live clip is EVERYTHING! 노래 자체도 좋은데 진짜로 노래의 복잡한 감정이랑 생각을 이렇게 무대에서 표현해내는 거 너무 멋있다ㅠㅠ

After laughter has some of the rawest emotion i have heard in an album for year. This is some personal stuff. Real fans who have watched interviews will know that this song is genuinely how hayley felt for years and is slowly getting over her depressed mind set. It really is sad to see someone you respected loads slowly slip into a depression. Mental health kills please speak about it

Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather Rose-colored boy I hear you making all that noise About the world you want to see And oh, I'm so annoyed 'Cause I just killed off what was left of the optimist in me I had to break it, the wars are raging on And I have taken my glasses off You got me nervous I'm right at the end of my rope A half empty girl Don't make me laugh, I'll choke Just let me cry a little bit longer I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to Hey man, we all can't be like you I wish we were all rose-colored too My rose-colored boy Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather I want you to stop insisting that I'm not a lost cause 'Cause I've been through a lot Really all I've got is just to stay pissed off If it's all right by you I had to break it, the wars are raging on And I have taken my glasses off You got me nervous And you're turning it into a joke A half empty girl Don't make me laugh, I'll Just let me cry a little bit longer I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to Hey, man, we all can't be like you I wish we were all rose-colored too My rose-colored boy Leave me here a little bit longer I think I wanna stay in the car I don't want anybody seeing me cry now You say "We gotta look on the bright side" I say "Well maybe if you wanna go blind" You say my eyes are getting too dark now But boy, you ain't ever seen my mind Just let me cry a little bit longer I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to Hey, man, we all can't be like you I wish we were all rose-colored too My rose-colored boy Just let me cry a little bit longer I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to I know we all can't be like you I wish we were all rose-colored too My rose-colored boy Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather

yknow the first time I watched this I was hyper critical for some reason? I guess I just wasn't ready for it. but coming back to it now- after Hayley's first solo release- with an open mind really allowed me to feel out what she's going for here♥️ she's always one step ahead, gotta love it
