I agree with this. Her relationship with Jeevan was the best part of the show, and it’s essentially not in the novel itself. I read the book after and found that really disappointing.

Some people seemed to be annoyed by how she talks. Give her a break, she's just a kid. I would've wished to be able to talk with such confidence when I was at her age. I randomly watched Station Eleven months ago (because I'm kind of obsessed with post-apocalyptic fictions) and I think she's brilliant in it. I had no idea who she was and thought she was related to Kiernan Shipka. Looking forward to seeing her future works.

Usually when you have two actors play the same character at different points of life, there's an effort of will on the part of the viewer to remind oneself that they're the same person. In this series, I had the opposite problem. My default belief was that Lawler and Davis were the same person, and I had to actively remind myself that they weren't, such was the synchronicity of their respective performances. I wanted to compliment Davis, for example, for her incredibly precocious performance as young Kirstin when she had nothing to do with it. Phenomenal job by both actresses.

You really need to do better when you end the interview, Stephan. Talk about an abrupt cut from talking (she basically was in the middle of something) and you just go straight to the ending. Would have been so easy to ask one simple question to fade it all out, but no, you just decided to cut it in a way that showed no respect whatsoever. (Read: You just left her story hanging without giving her the opportunity to end it with something that made sense; This is one thing my dad has told me or similar)
