He's a great guy, an excellent musician, and a joker. Saw him in Detroit (where I am from, too), and he pretended to be drunk/intoxicated and kept referencing being in "Ohio," etc etc. Played amazingly all set. He of course revealed he was messing with us and everyone had a laugh of relief. I was up close and could see the side stage. His grandparents were there in comfy chairs, watching the whole set just out of view of most people. Very precious. I'm sure the grandparents had to deal with all sorts of shenanigans from him growing up.

Prince is a highly underrated guitar GOD. he’s mostly known for his prolific songwriting and angelic voice, but the guy is a TRUE musical genius. he performed all the instruments in his first WB album, and even produced it himself. at 19-20 years old. he’s also the consummate professional when it comes to his performances. you always have a great time when you’re at a Prince concert. he’s the closest this generation will come to having its own Mozart. but Jack White is not too far off.

Whatever image Jack sees himself as in the matrix is fine. He's doing whatever he wants. He owns a vinyl company and part of a baseball bat factory, and an upholstery shop, just because. Also he makes music. And gets married on a good day... Not everybody's taste, but I see genius in the music. Kinda always have, but it's like matured genius, super low key heavy, behind an intense wall of noise, that Always comes back to the bare bones groove. But I think the real reason I like Jack White, is because I've never seen an interview where he's not just a completely genuine and down to earth guy. Guess it's just cool to see that. Also weird that talent, if married to integrity, stands out as an anomaly these days, instead of being the norm. Maybe that's the whole point... III

Be careful because a genuine down to earth guy is what he wants you to see. He is part of “the matrix” you are being hypotized by, and from the sound of it, he is a very, very important part of it to you. His imagery has always been strange and dark and dare I say demonic or satanic. The music and talent may say genius to you, but I see otherworldly. Also, what does the III mean to you that it’s a cool and mysterious way to end a thought as if it were your signature? It’s just another unexplained part of his act, and it seems quite sinister to me. Don’t be so easily placed under a celebrity spell. Peace
@neighbor-j-4737
@neighbor-j-4737 Жыл бұрын
@@henrybarney3202 Just like a typical Christian, you judge me for five minutes straight, see Satan everywhere, then leave a disingenuous "Peace" at the end. Way to be a whitewashed tomb... Did you ever take the time to try and discern the truth in Jack's lyrics? I don't worship the guy... by any means. But I do see a genius in that he very purposefully hides truth in little bits and phrases, behind a wall of noisy guitar. It's an art form called obfuscation. Jesus used it when telling parables. So before you cruise around the internet setting up everybody's moral guardrails like a garden variety hypocrite, perhaps consider that other people are capable of critical thought. If you see a devil under every rock, and if that makes you somehow more righteous by way of comparison, congratulations. You have arrived at echo chamber nirvana. But don't put your "should" on me. Because you have no idea who I am, and honestly no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps take a look at your own personal mysticism that you've unwittingly tied to your faith, things that you believe in, and practice regularly, but do not have one iota to do with God himself. Perhaps it is, in fact, you who is swayed by lies and images? _______

Camille wasn’t just a speed up voice for high pitch. His background vocals was often speed down for deeper voice. He also used the same technique with his guitar, and probably some other instruments as well. This is just by memory. Listen to the genius song Erotic City, and you’ll hear exactly what I’m talking about. You can also hear his tuning of the LM-1 drum sounds, and shortening of the tail of the snare and clap on the third measure. Not sure how he did that back then.
