@@rsr789 lol it's ok, a lot of us in America have no idea about his comedy history because House was such a big show. As a teenager I watched a lot of IFC and Sundance channel (those were 2 of the indie film networks we had on cable here in the US, before streaming we had indie tv and film on cable) so I watched way more British sketch comedy than a lot of Americans who have seen House. I don't know how it is in the UK but most people where I live in the US have no idea that he does comedy...even though he's funny in House like all the time.

This is INSANE, beard or no beard, 20yr/40yrs or 60yrs he's crazily insatiable. Love all his work and all his acting characters, but by far the best character and my most favourite is the one he has been playing for over 60 years and that is Hugh Laurie - and to top it off he's a fantastic musician - he even inspired me to learn the Piano (a long lost dream) - at 59 I have never ever touched a piano and now I am on the most incredible journey of my life - thank you!. Amazing!! I’ve loved Hugh Laurie for a long time. A bit of Fry & Laurie, Jeeves & Wooster & of course House, plus his music & the list goes on! It’s a delight whenever he comes to the states & this whole interview was perfection! 👏🫶🏼

This is what happens when you annoy one of the most famous comedians on Earth... You get an amazing whimsical monologue that just goes on and ends on an actual cliffhanger. This was marvellous to behold and its the reason Hugh Laurie is one of my favourite comedians. Well executed. Never mean and always funny.
