And not just the stories she tells, but the way she puts the words together in the more serious, emotional scenes, especially in season 2 of Fleabag, is kind of poetic. I don’t know how else to explain it; the words she chooses, their arrangement, the kind of timing, or beat, feels natural while yet being so insightful as to pick at a point just in the midst of yourself that makes you swell with sentiment in just a few moments that can then disappear as quickly & easily if & when she employs her absurd wit just as the emotional honesty is getting a bit too honest as to become awkward. She is awesome.

@Drummer1000George5 жыл бұрын
@James Richards I'm defending the idea that talent and wealth/connections are not mutually exclusive. That could be in any walk of life, not just acting. Was Winston Churchill talented? Or did he just have a well connected dad.
@TheCasualObservers5 жыл бұрын
@James Richards I've got a weird story about her. Genuinely met her about 8 years ago on a night out in London. In an area you would definitely not expect celebs to hang out. Long story short - it culminated in a couple of us having to hold back a friend, and a couple of Olivia Colman's friends having to hold her back, as they were basically attempting a full on fight. It was hilarious.
