Looking at the rpms and the exhaust sound yes there is a slight increase in hp. But when you really push it, it seems like the maf sensors or ecu or something just kicks in. It is impressive but it just feels like these Camrys are still missing something

The only thing about modding cars with after market stuff is you have to tune your car everytime you mod it. So It's best to go all out if you are. The computers in your car are set for standard equipment.The car won't drive how it really should until you do tune it if you have aftermarket mods installed. DON'T GET MODS IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO TUNE THE VEHICLE AFTER INSTALLING MODS.

Have you ever had a K&N before? Which one do you like better if you have. AEM sounds good though. I have K&N. Of course we can’t tell what the actual audio sounds like through videos but from just my experience with K&N I like it. As far as the horse power. It’s a very small amount of horse power that it gives you. And you’d want to get the cpu reprogrammed if you really want the car the register your new intake. But because it’s such a small difference you don’t have to. I did it to my car and I could tell a very slight difference from not having it programmed for the 2years I had it.

I got my Camry TRD about a month ago. It's nice and quick in sport mode but it's not a great sounding car unless I really get on the gas. I might do this just for better sound but I dont expect much more from this car. One of the best looking sedans ( reason I bought it) but did you do exhaust mods? Yours sounds pretty loud.

I think the more miles you put the louder it gets mine didnt sound anything but it only had 2 miles when I got it. I'm 200 in and its starting to get louder

@@yparra2008100 I did a resonator delete on my 2022 and I got a flash tuner, this is next along with possibly switching to higher octane fuel. The res delete made the car a lot better sounding and the tune I am running makes it send more fuel, can't wait to get one of these

Just got my TRD on the 15th so a wee bit over 2 weeks old. I haven't really romped on it but just once as I still have to give it a break in period just over 338 miles still. As soon as I get over 1500 I'll have to get the AEM Cold Air Intake as well. Sure am loving this car. Same pearl color as well :-)

I also got the AEM. Did yours come with bolts to attach the MAF sensor or did you reuse the oem ones? Also, the bolts that hold the adapter that bolts onto the heatshield, did yours come with washers? Instructions say it comes with it, I didn't get them

This is a good idea with a Toyota V6. Those engines already have a high compression ratio so adding a turbo or supercharger is pretty much guaranteeing something bad to happen. A cold air intake is the best option even though you won't gain as much power.

Debating if I should get an intake for my trd also. Been reading about it on the trd group on fb, peeps say it’s only worth it if you’re gonna get the d3 tuner with it. And others have said it hurts performance that the stock one is already good enough. And last option would be doing the k&n tube and filter route that I’ve seen but for the price of that might as well just go full intake lol decisions decisions lol how’s the aem been holding up on your trd ?
