Hi Félix, I also have the ioniq5 and experienced the following: both in winter or summer conditions, the ramping of power at the beginning is slow, you'll have to wait at least 5-10 min before seeing a true boost of power, even with an empty battery. Here in Belgium we have mainly ionity chargers. The best power I got since March is 185 kW. I expect the max power to increase in summer. Finally, indication of power input between charger screen and car screen can differ of few kW, 1 or 2 most often.

Thanks for sharing Francis! Last year Hugo & I already did a "near record" #BerlinChallenge: it's pretty easy to get high charging speed, in summer and when driving fast! Check it out and enjoy your ride!

About a half an hour to fill your car up? No problem , when it is all about the passage of time!

11:30. On bost machines the screen is on the same side , the left side of the charger when you're looking at it from the cables. And in your tests you're NOT charging from 10% (second and later sessions) but from 35 to 40%.... I think that's also a reason you did not reach the top charging from 225 KW.... I could charge mostly at 225 KW topspeed, or with a first session 180KW on ionity chargers. But the day starting with a fully charged car. But I do agree that even "mostly" is maybe 10 times....usually , in the Netherlands only, I charge at home only. With the maximum speed of 100 km even with zero degrees I can reach 350 km range. No need for charginge elsewhere.

That idiot that owns that Leaf at Shell Recharge needs to be towed away. Hogging/blocking a high powered charger really needed 100% on a fast charger as well? They need per min idle fees as well to hopefully help them move on and make them pay even more for blocking a charger. I know Bjorn also tested cold weather testing on the Ioniq 5, no battery pre-conditioning which is crazy why Hyundai didn't implement from start.

Very informative video for me as I am living also in NL and am planning to get an Ioniq 5 myself. On that note I really like your Gravity Gold (matte) finish. How is the maintenance of the paint? Thanx

This is Hyundai NL's OG Project 45, a year old by now almost. It looked as good as new to me, then again I don't know what they do in the garage to maintain it, they don't want the journalists to try a sloppy looking vehicle now do they!!

Well, then this matte paint finish maintenance will remain a mystery! Thanx!

It's the weirdest video I've ever seen...😱 I've even gotten dizzy from the camera movement...🤦🏻♂️ You take a lot of unnecessary turns to offer the same data on the charger and on the Ioniq 5, What's the point? Does it have any use for you? Because for me it doesn't have it...😔
