If you get to,watch again listen how he matches the guitar 🎸 to the chick scream in the crowd and he matches Jimmy voice with the guitar 🎸 also how mossy doesn't miss a strum even with Jimmy hanging all over him and yanking at him while sitting and getting up This would be one of their best ones raw free styling with the song

In case you are unaware, Ian Moss has his own decades long solo career, and has released a number of albums and like Jimmy is still touring. I saw Ian live last week, and he still hasn’t missed anything. His signature song with Cold Chisel is Bow River* & his signature solo song is Tuckers Daughter off the Matchbook album. *the version to react to is the one from the Ringside gig in 2003 (it has a rotating stage).

They always played this as an encore at the end of the show, and Jimmy was usually so plastered by that stage he could hardly stand up. But his vocals were always on point.

Jimmy was totally pissed and still produced the best version vocally of Wild Thing and Mossy was brilliant aswell.

What a gritty powerhouse performance of such a great song. Every version sang by different artists stands on it its own but by in my opinion pales slightly in comparison to Cold Chisel’s absolute in your face grungy passion. I could feel it just watching the videos can you imagine being in that arena experiencing it live, just heaven. Kudos of course to the great Ian Moss and the rest of the band and what can you say that hasn’t been said about Jimmy’s superb voice even after waving that l think nearly empty bottle of vodka around.

As great a vocal performance this is by Jimmy, Mossy holds the hold thing together so well. Just a little reminder, but this stage of the concert Jimmy is completely pissed and doing his antics with the crowd, which just makes it even more incredible. Chisel are SO tight as a band.

Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel do a great version of "Wild Thing", but for pure entertainment value, I prefer the Sam Kinnison video version with all his R'n'R "buddies", and Ms. Jessica Hahn. The Troggs and Jimi Hendrix had great versions as well. Guess you can't do a bad version of a killer song.

This is not bad, but I certainly don't agree that it is the best version of this song! Not sure about the comment that the Troggs said that this is the best. Did Reg Presley actually say that? Anyway, apart from the original version, I would say that Jimi's version was the best cover. Also, I prefer the Muppets version over the Cold Chisel one! 😂 Anyway, cheers and regards from England. 😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
