I first heard this song a couple months after it released back when I used to use BronyTunes app thing to find music and I come back after all these years and find it again trying to remember the song’s name and I couldn’t find it at first but I remembered I had saved it to my KZbin awhile back and here we are after like 4 years back again to finally say thank you for making this song it got me through a lot

This song put me into tears. It reminds me of my step brother. The first time I saw him, I was 10 years old to visit him in the hospital after his first suicide attempt. I witnessed the second. 2 years after that, he moved into my house. I had to take care of that 30 year old drunk, being his mental guide. The reason he is like this is because he got blown up by an I.E.D. causing brain damage causing hundreds of seizures. Before that, he served 4 tours, 2 in Iraq, 2 in Afghanistan as a paramedic. He told me in detail about the terrible things he's seen. And as he told me about all of it in tears, as he told me about the many people who died in his arms that he tried to save... his eyes were so cold. I could see what he's seen through those green eyes that were always dilated because of the huge amounts of medication he is on. He lived with me for 2 years, and got kicked out by my mom because she caught me smoking weed with him. He now lives in Alaska. I know he will die very soon, his lungs are charcoal, his liver is obliterated, his kidneys are soon to give out, his extremely high blood pressure put him at great risk of stroke. I have similar worries for my parents because they are almost 60 years old. I'm dreadfully anticipating the death of my family. After taking care of them my entire life, as my mother and brother's therapist, and my parent's marriage counselor. I'm 16, why do I have these thoughts?

You sir, are a very talented individual. I don't get to say this to many people, but you are a very great musician, and even a good signer. I hope to hear more from you :)

I..uh... I need a sec... wow. OK! I'm back. My grandmother has days left in her life. Maybe weeks. It's hard to write out but MAN did the pictures in my head hit me hard. This is one powerful song my friend. I've no critiques for this. If there is any improvement to be made, I'm simply not worthy of delivering the message. Still, I feel I should say it was your voice that hit me the hardest in all of the right ways. There is much you can do with that voice of yours and I hope you'll find the courage to share it again.
