I'm drinking this coffee right now and it's truly a revelation. The addition of just 1T of cocoa is inspired as it adds lots of flavor without screaming "chocolate!". So so so good. My first batch was a bit inefficient as it clogged up my coffee filter and took forever to drain. My next batch (and there most definitely will be a next batch) will likely make the following processing steps a. double the batch size b. strain through a mesh strainer first to get the majority of the goop c. THEN strain through a coffee filter

I stumbled onto your iced tea latte video a few days ago, and have been making it each morning this week-so yummy and simple. I’ll definitely be giving this a try! And as a brand new vegan, I had no idea that’s how to make cashew milk-such a simple healthy way to replace the half n half I’ve been missing. M’goi sai! (I lived in HK years ago).

I am making my own version of cold brew right now so this showed up on my feed at the perfect time. Will be incorporating your version into my version for a levelled up version of the only way I drink coffee. I have an extra step though. After preparing it in an empty and clean Powerade bottle, it goes into the freezer until it turns to slush. Take out before the mixture completely freezes, give it a shake and enjoy your "slush brew" coffee. 🙃

This is how I make my summer coffee and creamer, same proportions even. However, i I find cashews alone have sort of a bland but slightly bitter after taste, especially with a more dilute brew. I add 1-2 pitted dates and a pinch of salt to the cashews, soak the dates with them overnight if needed. The dates add some texture and a little sweet, slightly acidic flavor enhanced by the salt, that make the creamer richer, with better mouthfeel. I make other plant milks for cooking and use this just for coffee and tea. One could also use more dates and vanilla to taste, as I sometimes do, and avoid adding sweetener to the final brew, nice time saver if one is filling a go cup on a busy day. This also is very nice for dry cereal, oatmeal etc. Love your channel, I'm always smiling at how similar my own recipes are to yours and love to try ingredients you suggest to vary the program. Excellent production value and presentation as well. Thanks for keeping me inspired and out of a rut 😊

Superb, Wil! I learned how to make cold brew back about years ago when an early major snow knocked out power for us (then in Connecticut) for 9 days. Necessity being the mother of invention. I remember it having extra caffeine! I wonder whether it might work for decaf! 🇺🇸🇨🇦🙌

Thanks Wil! Nice recipe. Though, i've tried room temperature cold brew which I left out for 24h and then filtered and refrigerated, I personally found the brew to be less " muddy" looking. But both are great, just a matter of preference if you guys have tried it 😁. I even used my cold brew in a more concentrated form to get hot black coffee. I tried it with a roasted "green" coffee which retains all the antioxidant benefits. enjoy 💖🌈😌

I make a concentrated cold brew, and store it with added creamer and sweetener. When I want an iced coffee, I dilute the concentrate with club soda. This provides an extra hit of carbonic acid. The cocoa powder sounds like a nice addition.
