6 years ago I started going to Florida for the winter's. One of the things I miss most is moving snow, cleaning up the woods and making bonfires. Hopefully you were using diesel to get the fire going and not gasoline. Happy New Year.

@@mikethetrucknut I haven't had it long, it's a generation 1, T1N, with the inline 5 turbo. It gets great fuel mileage, but it's cost me an arm and a leg to get going. Leaking injectors cost $4500 to fix. I'm hoping it'll pay itself off soon.

I’m sure you know this, but just a little shoveling in front of the cab and Kenny would have driven right out of there no problem. I’ve done what you did many times in Minnesota during the winter. Good to see the old boy moving again!

Put the chains on the tires
@geesss867517 күн бұрын
Does that have diff locks? I heard from a person that It's not "good" to engage the diff locks during a time your experiencing loss of traction. You should stop motion wheel axles vehicle slowly engage until u feel traction lock engage and then begin to attempt to move the vehicle with tl engaged. The person also indicated that spinning wheels on ice at extreme wheel speeds and then moving to a dry sold surface causing or resulting in the drivetrain or drivelive to stop suddenly in an instant was not good for the traction or differential locks. You being a Truck Expert//Nut was that an accurate statement ?😊
@mikethetrucknut17 күн бұрын
That is 100% accurate. If you put a locker in when ones spinning even a small amount it can break the shift fork. It's also not good to spin one wheel at a high rpm bec it can blow up the squirl cage. Usually see these failures in Alison autos when it's slippery bec drivers stand on it and spin the tires excessively

That's what a truck should look like and smell like on a cold start. You can't get that with any of the newer trucks.

Seventy five now, started smoking around eight or nine years of age.... quit smoking on 21st of sept., this year. Feels strange not having that cancer stick in my mouth.... still reach for them but if ya quit, then dang it... QUIT or get off of the wagon. I feel a tad better but no cough or other issues. Cummins will usually start all the way down to our usa temps of zero to about ten.. fifteen below without either or other start aids. Lots of people have their favorite... Cat, or Detroit... Cummins, Mack. They all seem to be a lot easier as they improved over the years.... You just might need a woodmizer to cut some of your own boards for temp roofing... thats a hard game of its own. I see and listen to the news and hear them yelling for Trudeau to step down. Its a little late but if your tax situation did happen to take a huge step down, things might not look so bleak

Rocking the truck out from its spot… can’t do that with an automatic. Sometimes us drivers have no choice but to drive those awful things. lol.

Lets get smokey done and out the into the new rear end in kenny you have two good drivers then shift that old peterbuilt on to someone else the money it cost to get done is it worth it in my opinion k 2 be a better option if the peterbuilt engine and other components can be used for it be the way if mine would be going that way have a go9d 2025 to
