if you're trying to get more cutting pressure onto something, the concave bottom hugs your thumb for downward pressure and changes the center of gravity

That’s a badass knife. I’m a big fan of Cold Steel. I just brought the Smith and Wesson H.R.T. dagger, great knife. But I should’ve brought the Cold Steel Tokyo Spike.

I'm waiting on one to come in the mail. Getting it as a letter/package opener, and last ditch weapon should I absolutely have to. Gas station robbings have gone up where I live.

How you like the one you been waiting on , has it held up to your expectations as a neck knife because that's the 2 and the 1 is bigger if you want a bit large blade.
@rnkmode18762 жыл бұрын
For it's intended purpose (penetration) you can't go wrong with the Counter Tac series, no matter if made in Japan or Taiwan. Both will go in & out like butter.

Yours is a classic now 🗡️⚔️🗡️ being made with that VG1 steel and high polished finish, because the newer ones are stonewashed and made of AUS8a steel same material though 🦁🐻🦁

Excelent size of the knife. Knife carry tip up I would be affraid knife fell of the sheath while running. Has anyone suggestion to make sheath hold knife tighter? Heat plastic shape it?
@jasonmiller94954 жыл бұрын
The sheath holds it right enough

Are you able to rotate the belt clip 90 degrees?
@MaJaN6664 жыл бұрын
Hey, I just ordered the knife, but it seems like you can rotate the clip, because I can see screws right there.

When cutting, push down as you cut, in any direction. Then see what kind of cut it makes. The new steel is no where near as good. The grind is wavy, and the try to hide this by stone washing it!
@powerplay4real1744 жыл бұрын
They made of AUS8a steel now RazorChaK and stone washed.

Maybe his is VG1, instead of AUS 8A?
@rsimeon775 жыл бұрын
The mirror polished blades are either AUS 8 and VG1 made in Japan. The bead blast blades in AUS 8 are made in Taiwan.

WHY IS IT NOT SYMMETRICAL!" ALKSMDXJJSNDw21asdloep245s!.s0! makes me fucking crazy... I cant stress enough how symmetry is important for most people and a lot of guys like my self will stay away from this knife and the only reason for that being its not symmetrical.. They should definitely redesign this one or start selling an alternative version and the sales would spike immensely..
@MrChamberlaindavidd6 жыл бұрын
It's not symmetrical in order to increase the blades strength over traditional daggers in this size and design range.
@avatarion2 жыл бұрын
It's chisel shaped so the tip is stronger. It won't cut as well, but as a dagger its main purpose is to pierce.
