Cold Steel Norse Hawk modded to look more Viking.

Nothing radical, but it looks a lot better now. And I sharpened it so it works better.

My axe, me and my dog went on a lot of adventures together. I ended up burning in a drawing of my dog into the shaft and adding tassels with his hair when he passed away this year so he could still come with me in a way.

Some do use them regularly. I don`t have a need for an axe, so a wallhanger it`ll bbe.

Лучше обжечь рукоятку газовой горелкой, зачистить наждачной бумагой, снова обжечь, снова зачистить - несколько раз. Она станет тверже . А, рисунок ореха проявится. Затем пропитать льняным маслом. И, обмотать карданным ремешком. Сделать темляк.

Why not sink the set screw a little & fill the hole, making the ax usable. I wouldn't trust the blade to stay on without the set screw.
