Really enjoy your videos. They truly capture what it is like to be a bank fisherman. I and I’m sure many of your subscribers catch themselves saying, “Yep that’s happened to me.” while watching. Love the part where you kept going back after the fish that was nibbling at your bait, kinda gets personal - sort of “mano-a-fisho “. Really satisfying when you finally catch it! Thanks for keeping it realistic. (Don’t have enough time to get into annoying boat fishermen who think they own the water!)

@@RealisticFishing Hunting season opened up a couple days ago and one of my favorite fishing spots happens to be near a big hunting area. The occasional gunshots in the background don't make for the best ambiance while fishing lol. I got nothing against hunting, but I probably won't be going back to that spot until spring. Personal favorite setup when using gulp alive! Minnows is just a split shot and a hook. And cast it out. Changing split shots size depending on how the bite is for presentation in the water as how fast itll sink and whatnot.

Amazing, I just set up a separate box for all my drop shot fishing and had to hunt everywhere for my Gulp minnows. I've been cleaning and sorting everything and the bag was really nasty so I washed it and put it in my dish drainer to dry. LOL

No spillage. It's nasty and cold here right now so I've been cleaning and organizing all of my fishing equipment. It's been ignored most of the summer. It was a very busy summer other things. I'm afraid fishing came in second and my boat and gear were a real mess. Respooling oh my reels tomorrow.

Gotta love some panfishing. I used to do a lot of bluegill fishing but its been a while. My go to is little pieces of bacon, cant beat it. I also love those bobby garland babby shad for crappie and sometimes panfish. Gulp is great but for the price I dont use it much.

Nice bluegills. I went fishing today with a buddy of mine, bite was really slow but we did manage to get a few in the boat. It was hard to tell what was a rock we were going over and what was a fish cause they hardly had a bite to them. But still a good day fishing. Great video once again man 👊🏻

These gulps minnows kill it out here in the San Diego bay drop shot them and just a slow retrieve guaranteed a fish from spotted bay bass to Croaker to halibut and Corvinas 👌🏼

I used to get pissed at boaters when I was using a bobber to jig either jigs or artificial baits, then I realized if I just ignored the bobber until the wakes passed, I usually caught a fish off of one of the wakes. Just let them work the bait in a static position.

I fished for a little while in my dad's pond with them today and caught 3 crappie. I use them with a float though. I haven't tried them on a drop shot yet. I would probably be hung up on the first cast lol.👊👍

I will use the 12 lb omniflex but not the 6-pound it just brakes so much easier compared to berkley's trilene. I've lost some lures and since I got the berkeleys I've pulled in most of my Lures back. It's still think it's good line for traditional worm and hook fishing

Try some nitrile gloves. They're cheap and they keep your hands from getting wet. Still have good dexterity and decent insulation from wind. If they can keep my hands warm when making snow balls, they can keep yours warm when fishing. They aren't perfect, but they work well.
