What paper do you work on?

This is on Multimedia art board available @ www.multimediaartboard.com I will later mount it on cradled panel. I plan to make a demo video of the process.

Loved your video. I have done hot wax in the past but it was so messy. Will try cold wax. What substrate are you using? Beautiful work......

Hi Diane Thank you for watching. I am using muktimedia art board. I tape a paper backing on to keep my work station cleaner as I go off the edges wjth the paint/wax as I am working. When I am finished I will mount the substrate to cradled panels. I'll make a video to demonstrate. You can find the substrate at www.multimediaartboard.com

I have been working with cw and oil stick but fairly thick. Am i making a mistake not using the cw in thinner coats?
@ianistudio3 жыл бұрын
I learned to apply in thinner coats but there are no set rules. Are you satisfied with your results? Let that be your guide.

There is a wonderful book available from my mentors Jerry McLaughlin and Revecca Xrowell called Cold Wax Medium, Techniques, Concepts & Conversations I highly recommend it.
