Chickory, from a plant root, dried, roasted and ground and used as a coffee substitute. I know of it but now must look up the plant to see what it looks like growing. Perhaps harvest some for use.

I have a question that I hope you guys can answer for me. I live on a property that has lots of copperheads. We had to call an ambulance for my Dad and while all the lights were flashing from emergency vehicles I noticed that the copperheads were coming up out of the woods towards the lights. Are copperheads attracted to flashing lights, and if so, do you know why? Love you guys here in SC, and J you are so lucky to find a man like Cole, all the guys I dated just thought I was crazy because I loved to go down to the creek and catch snakes. I once cooked frog legs for a guy and when he saw them on his plate he gagged, left out the door without saying a thing, and never saw him again. Lol thats ok, if he wouldn't eat frog legs, I knew he wasn't for me. Love your channel and I look forward to seeing more of your great videos

Cole and Jay, A bit surprised that you were not familiar with chickory, since you are so familiar with nature. I am sure you have seen chickory growing along the roadsides of Arkansas. It’s a spindly ratty looking plant, but it has lavender blue flowers. The roots were dried and ground up, then mixed with coffee by the pioneers, etc to extend their coffee supply. Look up chickory, I am sure you will say “Oh yeah, we’ve seen that”. Now trade that Red Sox jersey in for a Cardinals top. After all, you are in Arkansas, home of the Dean brothers (Dizzy and Paul). I know, you are too young to know about them too.

Hey kids,, chicory is an herb that was used as coffee during the civil war. These days it is used as a flavor enhancer in coffee. Gives a very strong blend.

Cole & Jay, I would carefully fish with those Old Lures as the Feller suggested. Some of those Old Style Lures are Responsible for the World Record size Fish still on the Books. As long as you use them in an area where there's not a lot of snags, only big fish, should be fine with some Strong Line. The Beverage Cups were just Beautiful, I may have to order a special one for my self. Your Fans are the GREATEST, it's so fun seeing people share the Love with Y'all. Now go out and catch some Big Fish with all them New Lures. Love Y'all...........
