Never had any luck with any stock chinese carb. until I fritzed with it to some degree.

Thanks for the Vid, I have the same exact 4x4 and had exaclty the same problem I ordered that carb and the only issue was with the throttle plunger inside does not fit too big for the new carbs cylinder? any ideas to check out? Thanks

It runs amazing.. I Like that low idle when it not stops, but stay running at Low Idle Hope really to write with you Regards J.

Looking at the slide in the carb, doesn't look like it opens all the way, therefore it cuts airflow and defeats its purpose...also be mindful its air cooled so running a little richer would be a cooler engine so maybe maximum air would not be a good thing. Even stock, you could have opened the idle jet and raised the needle on the slide I would think....

It opens all the way, 4:29. I agree with running it on the richer side. I messed with the stock one but you can't swap jets and I tried chaning needle height, thats why I upgraded.

What about low end? If I nose up to a speed bump and start out it will barely get over it. No low end on this thing

@@mikew8849 you can swap to a bigger rear sprocket or do an engine swap like I did.

@@Bataha I have a 110 Polaris and it has more power at low end and more speed on the high end. This Coleman is so underpowered. I don’t understand why there is zero low end

I have the exact same quad and ordered the same parts as you but it idles really high in neutral and I have turned the idle control screw all the way to the right. How did you get it to idle low?

turn the idle screw to the left to lower it.

Bro how’d you add the new carburetor? I orders what you have listed and it was not compatible! The gas pedal line didn’t attack or fit yo anything. I’m ready to burn this atv to the ground 😢

I had the same issues. I installed everything you did in the video and it revs up and down at idle..I tried adjusting idle and air a bunch. Sometimes I throw it in neutral and it surges up to 5k+.. any idea?

Adjust the needle height and see if it will run any better. Make sure nothing is clogging up the carburetor.

Hay after you take off the air filter the stock one has a little rubber line that comes out and goes to inline fuel filter then in to the back of the motor when I chang the air filtter to one like you did were do you put that little hose back on

Im about lose my mind trying to figure this out. Installed everything correctly, but when I go to give it gas it bogs down and just goes blurp blurp and wont go that fast almost like its backfiring. Whats the problem??

Have you tried adjusting the carb at all? Sometimes I get them and don't have to mess with them. But a lot of times I have to do small adjustments to get them to work. I'm happy to help you troubleshoot, we can do it over discord. discord.com/invite/CQyNaw8

@Bataha Unfortunately I don't have discord. This is my 2nd carb because the first one worked for a day or 2 and this one lasted a quarter of a mile. I tried relentlessly adjusting the little screws to get them to work with no luck lol. This atv maybe has 5 miles on it 😑. I only took the stock one out because I watched this video a while back and was like oh wow more power. Now I'm wondering if I should just buy the stock one and put that back on.

@Bataha No it starts better than ever, fires up immediately and idles perfect, but when I go to give it gas it just sputters and won't go fast.

I bought it used and let it sit for awhile and couldn't start it again, because it lost compression, so I engine swapped it.

Replaced the carburator on my boyfriend's son's ATV and it still only lasted a week. Bad invention there. But if anybody deserves one it'd be my student of month, with autism.
