Coleman CT200U-EX gas tank relocation/Kingman, AZ test ride.
Relocated the gas tank to the storage compartment on the Coleman CT200U-EX minibike. And then tested the range of the tank by riding through and around Kingman Arizona until the tank was almost empty.

I had a 70s Honda 90 tank I mounted to my warrior and then used the tank bracket on the motor for a anchor for my battery bracket worked out really well for me good stuff sir mad scientist 🥼🥼🥼

Great idea! I have the same bike and have tons of great mods on it but that stock gas tank has always been a pain.. they’re built so cheap and the rattling constantly cause the back screw to the tank to fall out. Then it rattles like crazy.

Get the nuts with the white plastic thing in it there built for vibration like that so it won’t come off like how it keeps doing for you idk the name of them but you will know once you see it or you could ask someone once you get to that point

With my stock tank and a 225cc Tillotson Performance Engine with 18.368 HP, I can get about 30 miles on one tank of gas, and that's a lot of stop and go, and up and down hills, which eats up gas faster than like highway use would.

I cool mod for these Coleman’s is a nice set of street tires like the kenda speed racer or road go, just put them on my mini and they feel. Way better than stock tires and they look awesome

What I did to my bike because it’s a Baja Yard dog pretty much the same thing I replaced the fake storage tank with a real motorcycle Harley tank so it holds about 4 1/2 gallons

You can't put a vent cap on top of that vent hose line coming out of the tank like that, not unless you ream the hole out big enough for the lid to come up over the vent cap.

This is just one of many combos I've tried on this bike. These days I use the top tank for a reserve tank. Now I have more range than I know what to do with.

Why can’t you get the Coleman bike to go as fast as some of your smaller mini bikes? Is it the gear ratio or not as much modification to the motor or what? The size of the Coleman 200 looks like a safer ride at a higher rate of speed. Still a nice modification with the gas tank and good video and ride in some nice parts of the USA.

I’ve got this same exact build basically with a Predator 212 Hemi with a VM22 Mikuni and Header pipe with muffler with also the 40tooth sprocket yet I only go 37 does anyone know why?

Its wraps through a small hole on each side of the gas tank. It goes underneath and back up the other side.

What are the specs on the engine, I thought I saw a mikuni, stage 1or 2, governor removed, gearing at clutch and rear I thought was a 40. Thanks! I have a ct200u and it is bone stock and would love to mod it up for more power and speed.

In this video, it had the 196cc with the governor removed a VM22 Mikuni, header pipe, and a 7-degree flywheel key, and a 40 rear sprocket.
