Thanks for showing what that filter was! I couldn't figure out why there was styrofoam. How full do you fill up the tank. Do i pour it up to the lid?

No dual fuel model, but i have a couple of white gas ones. To run no-lead, I have a couple M-1950 stoves. I will find a dual fuel someday. Thank you for the review. Stay safe and stay warm

If you use regular gas be sure it is un-leaded with no ethanol!

What's the easiest way you have found to clean the generator when it becomes clogged so that you can restore it to service
@Savagecamper3 жыл бұрын
I havent yet found an easy way...anyone out there have suggestions?
@larryblake30483 жыл бұрын
@@Savagecamper You have to pull wire out of the brass generator and wipe with a clean cloth.

you think i can throw a 12inch cast iron pan on there? i think it weighs like 4lbs.
@Savagecamper2 жыл бұрын
I don't think it would be very stable on this stove. The wider the pan/pot, the less stable.

Eeeerr... You run it on Coleman white gas, not common unleaded gas. I thought by the title you tested it using unleaded gas and see how it performed, especially if used regularly? 😓
@coleparker2 жыл бұрын
Anybody know what grade of unleaded is best?
@Sylvan_dB2 жыл бұрын
cheapest you can find, but strongly prefer without ethanol. coleman fuel is only about 55 octane.

@@Sylvan_dB would ethanol be a problem?
@Sylvan_dB2 жыл бұрын
@@dezafinado Ethanol is not great. It holds water and is more corrosive than coleman fuel and unleaded. It has a different vapor pressure and boiling point so it acts differently in the generator. That said, 10% will probably burn okay and if you don't store it in the stove, corrosion probably won't be a problem. I strongly prefer to avoid ethanol unless the gear is designed for it, and the coleman isn't.

Please do not keep your funnel near the burning stove just after it's use. There may have fuel vapors that can ignite, rendering your funnel useless. The correct sequence of the lever is as follows: OFF- Clean (Still no fuel)- Light (restricted flow) - and finally Run (unrestricted flow) which is totally different than the printed one on the fountain. I have retrieved this information after some effort while Googling among patents.
