COLEMAN PORTABLE GEN. REVIEW.

Bought mine used in 08, knew the history as a friend used it at their business. They bought it new in 03, had less than 30 hours total run time. Ran it three days straight, the only breaks it got was to shutdown during refuling. Still starts on first pull every time. I'm curious... after 7 years nobody has commented on the side cover being on upside down... stop vid at 6 seconds in

What type of oil do you recommend for a Coleman Sport model 1600?

10w 30 is fine change it often , spark plug and air filter and you can use synthetic or half-and-half regular oil and synthetic oil.

Hey Chris, got one of these Coleman sport 1850 plus, units that stopped generating. Motor runs great but no current. Got about 200 hours use. Alway shedded no rust. Any ideas where I can get a tutorial for diagnosing the problem?
