Hey Cole on this one it could really help some maybe to fill in the note cases with what you pronounce to fill it in. I love the mixing of notes here, those 32nd notes are the hardest for me right now i feel like i don't know how to pronounce them in a scat. Great vid thanks !

Is there a software like this? This would be so cool to load up a beat and map it out then write your lyrics later once you got the cadence down. Sometimes it’s about seeing it that helps me understand how your lyrics works with the beat musically.

I love your videos Cole. This tutorial on pushing cadence is fire. 🔥 I would love to master this skill and have some background in music theory, but it feels a bit overwhelming to keep track of cadence within each bar when it's 1/16 and 1/32 notes. Do you suggest that people have a midi track over the beat and that they create cadences with clicks to start out? I am thinking that building an app to build cadences would be a great tool. 🤔

Hey Wisp, this is a bit more advanced. Yes I recommend every rapper start off with proper ear training. There's nothing stupid about asking questions, it's actually a sign if intelligence lol No if you cut a beat it doesn't lose quality, it only loses quality when you start converting to compresses formats such as mp3 etc.. I hope this helps! ✌😎 - Cole Mize

I’ll try this. My biggest drawback is how to attack. If someone raps ahead of me it’s easier to catch the rhythm but I struggle when starting any tips?

It sounds like you just need more practice with either coming in during different sections of the instrumental, or building up your arsenal of cadence that you can deploy on the fly.
