They haven’t discussed trolly return. Can you imagine the vandalism on the trolleys left in the car park. I am constantly seeing The basic ones we have now are streets away from the supermarket and the stores are very slow at collecting them. With such high tech electronics it can’t be taken out to open car parks do where is the convenience. It is things like this that make things more expensive and contribute manufacturing waste and possibly pollution. And job losses. Bringing out the weird and wonderful for the Look At Me popularity vote, is not the way to go. Technology is great and I love it but do we gave to gave it in every aspect of our lives. I look forward to meeting the person who invents a toilet that wipes your arse and scans the area to have a robotic voice say. “All clean”.

Coles Online Shopper and Service worker here. I hate this. We already have a system in Rover that they could use instead. This will not replace us. AI is not the answer here when it will actively force artists and retail workers out of their livlihoods.
