Thanks Sherry... They all look much better than last years crop. I DONT KNOW WHAAAT Happened then. I think ( as you've always warned) it was the generic seed pods I bought from a seller on Amazon.... I think they had some bacteria or other mild pathogen because They all looked Sickly. This year.... ALL of my Trays are Brand new sealed Jiffys from Ferry morse.

Hey!!! That's Great!!! Very true...the fan is like pre- Hardening ..getting them used to the wind..but the air movement really does benefit their growth!! I'm very happy you bought my seeds and no worries about feedback!!!

Hi Barry.... I harvest seeds in early September and dry them out , sell them on Ebay. If you scroll thru my list of Videos I do have a few on how to harvest Coleus seeds.

You should try adding Mycorrhiza fungi powder to your plants! Can be added into the soil or added to water you use on them. It forms a fungus around the roots that helps transport nutrients into them. Will make a plant grow bigger faster.

@@Jimswholiestofcoleus also while transplanting the plant into bigger pots you can just sprinkle the powder onto the rootball. It colonizes best when applied directly to the roots that way!

In some cases...but DO NOT assume that there's something wrong or you did something wrong based on the fact that We sowed at the same times... Again there are SOOOO many variables to consider... just continue following along...your obviously doing something right as they have germinated....and true leaves are showing.... 👍

@@Jimswholiestofcoleus i bought some seeds from France and germinated 8 days ago and they are as big as the onesgerminated with you. So now am 100% sure that it is seed quality. My rainbow mix do great now and i love how fast they are growing. Wait am catching up xD

Thanks for all of your guidance. I got lucky... I am now the coleus supplier for my neighborhood plant shop! It doesn't make me much money, but (because of your videos) my seedlings look better and much more cared for than others. FYI: So that you are more 'technically correct'... I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, but I believe that plants need carbon dioxide (not oxygen) to benefit from the fresh air/photosynthesis... just sayin' 🪴 Please keep on doing what you're doing! It's so beneficial and we appreciate it. 💚

EXCELLENT!! That is great that you sell them. I appreciate your watching and the kind words. No worries about the O2 & CO2...I realize that....I know they release CO2 in the evening...basically I was using Oxygen as a general metaphor....meaning "AIR" or "Air movement" over the plants.

My guess is that you dont nessesarly have to buy specific seedling soil, u can make ur own by adding sand to ur coco coir or soil from the ground or even torf and and there u have seedling/cutting medium it works for me so far

Yes!! Stored in A Cool dark place ... they are good up to 5 years.
