you got to want it more than anything in this world. You can get there. It's a long drawn out process. Be easy with yourself. Try to start with small changes. I'm a recovered i.v. fentanyl addict of 10 years been clean for almost 2 years now and there were maaaaaaany relapses during the last 2 years but I just finally had enough. Its fucking exauhsting. getting better was a process.. havent touched the needle in ove 90 days now and over the last 2 years mainly the last year i really started cutting back like insane progress i started making, if u fall get back up. Best of luck. You can do anything you set your mind to. You just gotta truly want it and be ready. Being ready is just as important. It was a process for me but I'm here to tell you after 7 o.d.s man and a decade of nothing short of hell. i was done. got help. i met my girlfriend 2 years ago and she was deeeeeefintely a maaaasssive help. i hope you have someone in u life u can talk to. keep listening to colichiee and positive stuff!! respect! ur worth it and u can do it. realize it for the poison it is. know it as the enemy. thats what i do. that shit took so many of my friends. fuck that shit. hate it. sorry hope i didnt over share just trying to share hope :) u got this!

To all of those still struggling in this Disease of Addiction! There's still hope, I promise you that! This song hits SOO HARD, It's like they were riding in the back seat of my car, watching me thru all of my struggles😔of this Disease. It's so true that ONLY the people that have been thru it, can relate to it! True Facts!! People often speak on this, from knowledge of a book, or a Psychology Course. But the truth of it all, alot want to sweep their family dark secrets under the rug! And for what?? Their Social Status? This Generational 'Problem' didn't start with me!! Will NOT END with me, this is MY FAMILY DISEASE NO ONE wants to talk about!! My son's first OD was at the tender age of 12!! Yes 12 yrs of age💔on pills that someone had. My son next OD, wasn't just once, not twice, BUT 5X on Heroin! The 2nd time they saved him with 2 shots of Narcan, then the 5th time they revived him! This is MY family disease of addiction cuz I to am an Addict in Recovery from Meth & Alcohol abuse. @@sabbithablood5219 Thank you so very much!! I have to say it's been a very long road with him and I trying to stay focused that I too was in his shoes once. I've always talked to my children about drugs, alcohol, safe sexual encounters, bullying, bullies, AND how "MY SIDE OF THE FAMILY" will never speak out on those topics. So I vowed if I were to have any children I would speak to them at a young age, which I did to all at age 9. My family condemned me for telling them my struggles, but I was bound & determined that I would never hide from them my Disease of Addiction, nor where it landed me which was prison for 4 yrs. But I tried my best from my youngest son to the oldest, 4 out of 5 boys took on the same Disease of Addiction I had! 5 jails and 3 stints of Rehab ONLY worked for 2 which are clean for 4 yrs now, the other 2 sit in prison as I write this out. The one that had the worst Addiction that I speak of here, will have 3yrs 1 month coming out clean this summer from prison, I have seen the dramatic change as he grew up in prison. But like I told him, the State might have put him in a place he didn't want to be, BUT GOD KNEW EXACTLY "WHERE HE NEEDED 'HIM' TO BE" to save his life of destruction he was on, just like I was. But, Just know that your prayers are ALWAYS WELCOMED, I thank you very much for reading what I wrote, bc you never know when someone might need to hear or read that! He has told me over and over how much he was sorry for what he put us thru, but I told him I forgave him long time ago, bc I too have been where he is at now. But it would be up to him if he learned from this situation and where it landed him, just like it did me. All I can do is pray for him 🙏in Hope's he will continue his journey of beating this Addiction. 3 yrs behind him is a good start, due to it takes 1 full year to release any and all toxins of drugs in the body. It's taken me 2 years of it now with him there to get to know who the 'Adult Young Man' he has become. (*mind you he started at 12 yrs old, so I have never seen the Young man who is clean and sober for once since he was little) so getting to know him now is just amazing!🥰🙌 (If there is anything you would like to know or need more information on, I'll help with whatever I can answer!!🙂 God Bless!!💜
