MJ is respectable in how he overcame things... and he didn't shift blame, he didn't point fingers, he didn't have a victim mentality.... he pushed himself and others to achieve greatness. I think that's why his teammates don't say anything bad, because they understood where he was coming from beyond his character flaws.

Very important statement. Jordan critics these days always point the finger , claiming 1-9, even though that 1-9 came at the beginning of his career and he overcame it. I find that much more respectable than winning, losing, winning, losing and having a career that is a rollercoaster.. Nobody can claim to be on a consistent growth pattern except Jordan. Not even Kareem. I won't even mention Lebron, because most of his team accomplishments are finals participation awards (silver medals), oh an a bronze in his first olympics. On a tangent though, Jordan did lead a team of college olympic players to beat NBA hall of famers. Had he not been in a cocaine circus bus team, he would have achieved more, at a faster rate.

Colin Coward actually started this video with that BS? This woman wants a man to be a man that is not defined by an utterly ridiculous bullshit definition of masculinity. Not the kind that thinks draft dodging Cadet Bone Spurs in the WH is tough because he’s mean to ppl when he’s risking nothing! And one more thing Colin, sometimes I want to eat somewhere that my mate picked and sometimes I want to eat what I picked. If your wife needs you to decide where she eats every time you eat out, she needs to figure out who the hell she is.

Was telling my wife that. I LOVE seeing his "human" side, like when he broke down talking about pushing his teamates and called for a break. Like, it actually does hurt him that people think he was mean. You could see it in his eyes, he approached teamates like a father figure - the "you might think I'm mean, but I'm just trying to push you to be all that I know you can be" mentality.

See It 2wice that’s what’s up! Maybe we’re old fashioned and we just believe that championships do matter and you have to beat the best to be the best. I do love LeBron ad what he stands for BUT he didn’t beat Kobe and he said It himself before the all star matchup that Kobe (whilst he was in his prime) was the number one player in the league and he was number two. Now Kobe is obviously not playing the only way he can beat him is to get six championships and then he’s in a conversation with Jordan. until then I’m not interested in that comparison.

in terms of leadership, Jordan did what he had to because he did not have the luxury of multiple talented All Star players on his team like other greats Russell : 33 team mates made All Star team same year they played with Russell Wilt : 32 team mates made All Star team Kareem : 22 All Star team mates Bird : 23 All Star team mates Magic : 22 All Star team mates Duncan : 13 All Star team mates Kobe : 15 All Star team mates LeBron : 15 All Star team mates *Jordan : 6 All Star team mates* note: these are team mates who made All Star team the same year they played with great how many of these greats had played with multiple All Star team mates during thier career? *RUSSELL* had Bob Cousey, Bill Sharman, Tommy Heinsohn, Sam Jones, John Havlicek *WILT* had Hal Greer, Chet Walker, Tom Gola, Paul Arizin, Tom Meschery, Guy Rodgers, Nate Thurmond, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Gail Goodrich *KAREEM* had Flynn Anderson, Oscar Robertson, Bob Dandridge, Jim Price, Magic Johnson, Jamaal Wilkes, Norm Nixon, James Worthy, AC Green *BIRD* had Tiny Archibald, Dave Cowens, Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, Dennis Johnson, Reggie Lewis *MAGIC* had Kareem, Jamaal Wilkes, Norm Nixon, James Worthy, AC Green *DUNCAN* had David Robinson, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge *KOBE* had Shaq, Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Dwight Howard *LEBRON* had Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mo Williams, DWade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis *Jordan had Pippen. thats correct. Jordan played with only ONE All Star team mate his ENTIRE career. it was only Pippen who made All Star team 6 times while playing with Jordan* the average great had 6 or more All Star team mates to help them win rings with Wilt having the most help at 10 different All Star team mates Jordan did all he accomplished with only ONE other team mate make All Star team. from the first three peat team to the second three peat team only Pippen and Jordan came back, everybody else was completely different. how did Jordans leadership influence two totally different teams with completely different lineups except for Pippen?? thats the main point here: Jordan didnt NEED All Stars to help him win rings, he took average journeymen and role players and made them better Jordan only played with ONE All Star his entire career. think about that

Mr So-n-So Conservatives like conserving their ability to make millions while their workers do the hard labor. That’s why they call Employers the “Capitalist” class and workers the “Labor” class. Because Jeff Beezos does not do 100x the work his employees do but he gets 100x the pay. He actually does less work then his employees. If you gambled all you had on a small business and it ends up taking off and you enrich yourself, your family, your employees, their families and all of your customers, you wouldn’t want to conserve that success that you earned? You know how to convince or influence people with your "assertive, aggressive, and charming character" We may throw a little bit of sarcasm in there too. Sense of humor mixed with intelligence appears to be dominant at times. We have seen that you are emotional too from your other videos. These are "good to have traits." To me, you demonstrate some parts of Michael's mindset too. That may be why you get to choose where you are going for dinner.

The other half of changing the sport for MJ is how so many tried to copy his style and by happenstance created the defensive era of late 90's to late 2000s with almost every guard trying to inefficiently shoot mid range jumpers. He kinda recreated the physical Pistons if you think about it.
@cyber6sapien
@cyber6sapien 2 жыл бұрын
The defensive era really started with the Pistons in the late 80's. They had success against the Bulls with their overly physical style of defense, which was later copied by Pat Riley's Knicks of the early 90's. The Knicks had the most success against the championship year Bulls by pushing them to 7 games in the playoffs at one time. The Knicks' physical defensive style was then copied by the Pacers and to a lesser extent the Miami Heat. The league then became overly defensive overall in the late 90's through to the mid 2000's. In MJ's absence, the league started to change the rules to make it easier for perimeter players to score. Major rule changes included removing hand-checking and implementing the defensive three second rule so that rim protectors could no longer camp out in the paint and protect the rim. All of these rule changes were a response to the fact that other perimeter players could not replicate what MJ was able to do on the floor, so they had to weaken the defensive rules to make it easier for them to score.

People also like things just being genuine. In a world where so many people back off on things and play it safe about everything for fear of people getting mad seeing an MJ who just owns what he did and the mentality he had and explains why he thought that way and has such passion for his competitive fire is just a level of genuine that has become almost non existent in todays world. Things of a prior age that may haven been seen more negatively are more embraced in a modern culture where people won’t hold strong to who they truly are all for fear of perception. And the final nail is that MJ may have been tough and demanded a lot but he demanded the same or more of himself and you hear that from every single player or coach he ever had. You never hear that he didn’t bring it. Every one of them points out that he was tough but that he brought it every single time and that he didn’t expect anything from somebody that he didn’t expect for himself. That’s a major key as well.

One thing I can say about this quarantine is that it is forcing this generation to see why MJ is the greatest to ever play. When Jordan was playing there was no argument from the media, the players or even the fans as to who the greatest was. There was no argument people just watched in aw. We might be several generations away from the person that will undeniably dethrone MJ as the goat. All the debating now is fodder for debate and conversation.

The media presents us with all opinions from all sides. We can pick and choose witch side we want to listen to at any given moment. We shouldn't be upset that there is always some portion of the media that is presenting an argument counter to our own opinion. We should instead be happy that there is somebody out there sharing our opinion on whatever issue is up for discussion.

why. .its because all his shoes has stories and its all true. .it speaks on the last dance and when he start in nba. .its all true. .he maybe surpassed by kobe and lebron but the trueth is that they where not closed if he played earlier, did not resigned after 1st pit and continue played until 20 seasons. .maybe jordan has 10 rings and maybe he top the career points of nba. .
