He is, apparently, true to himself. The best thing about THE LAST DANCE is getting a good glimpse at the so-called "hidden", "real",...behind the scene stuff. People who are writers complaining about "the Last Dance" don't get it. MJ isn't going to lie his feelings about (Jerry) Krause, (Isaiah) Thomas or others. He wasn't going to dodge why they split (because that's what the documentary is about). Jerry Krause split one of the best teams assembled because he was insecure, cocky and felt he could do this again (build another team). And because he has passed doesn't mean you sugar coat what has happened because you are afraid of hurt feelings. That wouldn't be authentic. MJ was a hard ass when it came to winning, being super competitive and just what he feels had happened.

The idea that the players that Krause traded for or drafted would be as successful without Jordan demanding excellence and commitment to practicing hard is laughable. MJ was the ultimate team leader who demand nothing from his teammates that he didn't demand from himself. That is why they respected him Krause should have respected it more. What some are seeing is what it costs to be as great and successful as MJ was and is. He was tough as nails and the whole team followed suit.

Media are so Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, wanting players to talk to create spicy headlines, then bashing them when they do exactly that.

It's funny because MJ said people would think he's a bad guy or wouldn't like him after watching this documentary. I actually like him more after watching the first 6 episodes.

I have never agreed with Colin more than I do on this one. Michael Jordan is a breath of fresh air because he was single minded about his craft and wasn't/still isn't a "people pleaser".

MJ is one of the 10 most special people of my lifetime. Like Buffet in finance or Obama in politics or Jobs with consumer products or Gates with tech.

Saying it doesn’t matter if Mike speaks because he doesn’t have the influence is a cop out.

People want athletes to endorse them back then & the same thing today plus rappers and movie stars but like he said how can you endorse someone you don't know or nothing about.. I still love this man & he is the greatest basketball player ever 💯

If you are the face of a Franchise, the Leader of the team, it is your job to call out management. You need, have too, must represent your teammates & speak up when it is necessary. That was Michael's role/job as the face of the Bulls

MJ shows us that he was driven all costs to win. I already knew that. I wish the sportswriters would fix on that MJ described best teammate being Dennis Rodman. That has been the biggest revelation for me. Crumbs Krause earned his nickname.

Regarding Isaiah, did you notice that when the Pistons walked off and did not shake the Bulls' hands, Isaiah bent over and cowered down when he walked by the team instead tall, head up and showing that he as an Alpha?

lets be real here, colin probably knows this writer and is giving his article exposure, people reading it and hating it is better than nobody reading it.

On the political aspect, I believe that people did not really care whether or not Michael Jordan's support mattered. They were just disappointed at Michael's refusal to show sentiments on a political issue concerning his own people. People wanted Jordan to show that he actually cared about social issues concerning their race, even if his gesture was insignificant.
