@DeCurtaRican2 жыл бұрын
You obviously missed some very important details concerning that entire fiasco. The NFL didn’t send any decision-makers to that workout. Secondly, the workout was just a ruse to coax Kaepernick into signing away his right to sue the NFL. The NFL’s lawyers realized that Kaepernick still had a valid claim for collusion under continuing violations doctrine. He still has claims against the NFL, and those claims will live on until he other plays or dies before filing a federal suit, or until the NFL stops hiring lesser QB’s who have never been to a Super Bowl. Kaepernick’s lawyers would have committed malpractice by allowing their client to sign a waiver obliterating his statutory rights. He still needed to present the impression that he was ready, willing and able to play, which is why HIS LAWYERS told him to present an opportunity for the NFL’s representatives to see him. Kaepernick won that chess game, and the NFL only got itself into deeper trouble.

It's ironic how, even though the show is called "Speak for yourself", a lot of people quote Acho when talking about controversial issues in the NFL. People obviously aren't taking the show's title as advice.

I love Kaep but he blew it. Didn't bother playing in the CFL or any 2nd tier league to show he had it and prove to America he was black balled. Sorry Kaep

That’s what I’ve been telling my wife if you compared the NFL to slavery then why would you want to be apart of it 🤦🏾♂️ make it make sense

Kap should sign up for the USFL if he really wants to play. But they don't pay as well as the NFL.
@jefffinger34122 жыл бұрын
Why would he want to return to the NFL. I heard being a professional victim pays pretty well?

I disagree with the notion that Kaepernick 1. does not have what it takes to lead a team and win, and 2. That his tweet was " a bad chess more." Kaepernick has tasted greatness and wants more. Moreover, he and his agent know that the market for quarterbacks couldn't be hotter that it is right now. As many players as there are out there who would question his abilities there may be even more who are willing to give him a chance to prove himself. As a 49er fan, I feel that Kaep left some unfinished business on the table. He has stayed in shape and kept throwing the ball. I will concede that the hurdles he and any organizations who may sign him have a tall order to fill when it comes to a successful PR campaign, but I think his presence has the ability to reinvigorate what has become a lackluster American sport.
@zezozose662 жыл бұрын
Lackluster American sport? I’m not sure if you watched the NFL playoffs and SB. I’m not sure where you’re coming from. NFL is king.

Baker is leagues ahead of Kap. Kyler is leagues ahead of Kap. Carolina is probably gonna get Watson who is leagues and leagues ahead of Kap. Seattle is rebuilding and you rebuild through youth.
