Your statement/ comment is accurate ... to me, Colin is a "public patriot" if anything, for standing up in his position to the injustices of this country, a country that actually disrespects what this country and our Constitution should stand for ... instead, a country of politically corporate controlled legislation and mass incarceration as well for corporate profiteering, and killing innocent citizens. - - Ranch Chimp Journal

He needs to grow the hell up! You make millions of dollars and you were given that freedom to get paid to PLAY A GAME!! The NFL is a WORKPLACE. He was free to do what he wanted to do OUTSIDE of the workplace...something he still doesn't understand to this very day is the fact that playing in the NFL is a PRIVILEGE.
@cefb89234 жыл бұрын
@@RemmyRiffs Yeah that is true. This is what people do not understand, the NFL or the organizations apart of the NFL has no obligation to keep him on their team, even if they agree with his message completely or partially. These teams are trying to win a Super Bowl year in and year out and having a three ring circus of media attention and distractions is something that many teams (especially the winning teams) do not want. What the crazy part is, if Tom Brady said this what would the reaction be? Is it because he is white? Or is it because he is one of the GOATs.

You will notice that white liberals quoting a small part of this interview in order to show his protest wasn’t anti-America will NEVER quote from same interview where he says Hillary broke the law and anyone else would be in jail yet she’s running for President.

@@Nflguy4949 also isn't it funny how the media is willing to photoshop Hitler to look like Trump and call right-wing people racist. Yet they wish to abolish the police and create their own? It sounds like the SS to me. you want to know what else the SS did? They humiliated the people they are "oppressed" by aka white people in public. They made jews kneel down and kiss their boots. While it isn't as bad in America it is getting there. African American people don't have the power to ask white people to kneel and apologize for being white.

History always vindicates the righteous in the end. 4 years ago, Kap sat down in PEACEFUL protest and upon hearing a former veteran voice his concern that his method was disrespectful, he later knelt instead to be “more respectful” AND STILL his critics burned his jerseys, walked out of his games and demanded his removal. All because of a PEACEFUL PROTEST. The same people who constantly badger on about their first and second amendment rights, made sure to stifle his. And now look at you, a country on the cusp of complete destruction. Chaos. Anarchy. Mayhem. Enjoy x
@Ur2ez4me812 жыл бұрын
So from what you are saying others who don’t agree with Kaps stance don’t have a right to disagree with him in protest? Also this guy literally just compared playing in the NFL & making millions to slavery. Sorry this guy has lost touch with reality…. What race he is, or who he was brought up by means nothing. You seem to just be suggesting that by being half white and being brought up by a white family he should be eternally grateful for that race and then deny his ancestry, and never stick up for issues that affect black people? Laughable. Anyone should stick up for the rights of certain groups if there are injustices, you don't have to be a member of that club. Again, what on earth has it got to do with anything if he has a muslim girlfriend? Nothing, unless again you are prejudiced. Also, what has it got to do with anything that his black father abandoned him? Unless you are prejudiced, saying all black fathers are like that, or that they deserve police brutality as a race because they abandon children. You are a Streetwalkin Rat With A Heart Full of Hatred.

The statement about police having less training requirements than cosmetologists in California is sadly true. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/08/30/kaepernick-was-right-about-police-vs-cosmetology-training/ Just lost a friend who was attempting suicide and the cops were called to stop him and they shot him within less than a minute of arriving to the scene. The wife had called to get him help. Police came, started yelling at him, pointing their guns at him (he had no gun, but had a knife...cutting himself). He started walking towards them. They shot him 5 times. It all happened in less than one minute from the arrival of the officers. By the way, he was white. This issue is worse for people of color, but this is a UNIVERSAL issue we need to address. How can a cop make $243,000, be armed, and have only 6 months training?

This is the most (and only?) informative video of Kaep that I've seen. I'm not sure why he's stayed so quiet since this 2016 interview. For example, there's the NY Times article from 2018, "The Deafening Silence of Colin Kaepernick". He had the platform (and still does), and I wish he would speak his mind and give others the chance to listen.

How is he a real american by not standing up for our anthem? You must be missing large portions of your brain because there is no "truth" to what he said. Police brutality is extremely rare and oppression in the United States is a joke. Go over to a country with real oppression and then you can start talking. These liberals smh.
@dr3armer8 жыл бұрын
+Fad Fudge nice factual argument there my friend. Did you know that over a hundred unarmed black men are killed at the hands of police? but this isn't an issue? did you know that blacks serve longer and harsher sentences than whites for committing the same crimes? that's the issues were addressing. no one is blaming all white people. no one is blaming all cops. if you truly loved your country you would fix the issues it has and he did the right thing bringing awareness to the issue. and like every civil rights movement. change WILL happen. goodbye and have a nice day.
@fadfudge47198 жыл бұрын
AJ lamar Police brutality is still extremely rare regardless. And by protesting and causing violence and not standing up for the national anthem is not the solution. Many blacks in the hood think that if they "stand up for themselves" by rejecting a police order is a good thing, ITS NOT. Thats why this extremely rare issue happens. Btw the people of the BLM movement do express hatred toward whites and cops, not all of them but there are some who do so.. Have a nice day

Lynn Lobliner: He explained his reason for doing it but he should have chosen another way to do it. Disrespecting the anthem and flag publicly in this manner is insulting to a lot of people because they see it as an abuse of free speech and expression. Many of those people insulted are football fans. Liberal often say that "hate speech" is not free speech and they expect all to live up to that standard. If it disagrees with their thinking, it is hate speech. Lovers of the anthem and flag see kneeling for the anthem and flag as disrespectful and hateful and they are offended. "Unfortunately a year later" this is what the NFL, managers, coaches, the players and you still don't get. They can protest their grievances off the field in another manner without giving the figurative finger to the anthem, flag and people who venerate those things. In other words, plain and simply, "RESPECT THE ANTHEM AND FLAG" and we will have more respect for them. "Hate" is not free speech as the liberals remind us when they are offended.
